Brilliant central hotel conveniant for all city centre amenities beds quite small but comfy. Small thing breakfast prefer fried eggs to scrambled and bacon too thick cut and burnt the 2 mornings we stayed

Great location, quirky style

Perfect city centre hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Style is contemporary and quirky, reflective of the famous local landmarks. I'd definitely stay here again when visiting Glasgow.

Great Merchant City Hotel

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. From the warm and friendly welcome at Reception to the modest but helpful facilities in the restaurant and bar. Complimentary hot drinks and water filler in lounge , free pool table, limited but tasty and good value menu from soup and sandwiches to hot options like curry, lasange and Mac Cheese. The room was a bit small, but bed huge, and aircom great. A fantastic budget option with great facilities.

Stayed for 2 nights lovely clean room although room was quite small it was comfortable and very modern. Breakfast was good plenty of choice and lovely bacon free tea and coffee 24/7 also kettle tea and coffee in room. Great location very central

Very nice!

Stayed in Glasgow for two days, after spending three days in the highlands. In terms of the hotel, it’s about as central as central gets. It’s decorated to a high contemporary style and the bathroom is probably one of the best I’ve ever had - it’s huge and very Scandinavian in style. Breakfast was plentiful with options to suit those with food intolerances. I had a lovely stay and would return

Great value and location

Fantastic location, excellent breakfast, great value for money. Bar was a little Spartan but ok / would have been better if they hadn’t run out of red wine! Staff helpful and friendly. I’m sure visitors to Scotland love the cliched decor. Will return
