I am writing to provide some feedback regarding my recent stay at RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast from 15 January to 16 January. Firstly, I noticed that there were no hotel slippers or a dental kit (toothbrush/toothpaste) provided in the room. I called reception three times during the night to request these items, but unfortunately there was no answer. As a result, I had to go downstairs to the lobby in person to ask for assistance. Secondly, upon checking out, I was charged $6.50 for a coffee from the restaurant. Neither my wife nor I ordered any coffee during breakfast. I raised this with the staff at checkout, and I was advised that the signature on the receipt would be checked against mine and that a refund would be issued if it was confirmed not to be my charge. I am sharing this as feedback in the hope that it can help improve the guest experience going forward. I would appreciate an update regarding the coffee charge once it has been reviewed.

Our stay at RACV Royal Pines Resort Gold Coast was truly outstanding and exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we walked in to check in, we were welcomed by exceptionally friendly and professional staff who made the process smooth, quick, and effortless, all delivered with genuine smiles that instantly made us feel at home. The room was immaculate, beautifully presented, and very comfortable, reflecting the high standards maintained throughout the resort. The pool area is absolutely sensational and quickly became a favourite for our family. What really sets this resort apart is how incredibly family-friendly it is — every detail has clearly been thought through to ensure both adults and children have an enjoyable and relaxing experience. The buffet breakfast was simply wonderful, with an impressive variety and excellent quality, a big shout-out to the chefs for their fantastic work. There is no shortage of things to do within the resort, making it easy to relax, unwind, and stay entertained without even needing to leave the property. Beautiful facilities with plenty of space and activities for all ages. The buffet breakfast was fantastic, the huge sparkling pools were a highlight, and the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming. A great variety of restaurants and bars, a large hotel room with a fresh, modern style, and a fun family atmosphere. Safe, clean, and a truly wonderful place to stay.

Second year in a row staying at this hotel, and once again we had a great experience. The facilities are outstanding—especially for families with young children—and the staff are consistently warm, accommodating, and kind. The food is also excellent. As it was peak season and the hotel was very full, there were a couple of minor housekeeping inconsistencies. On one day our room wasn’t serviced despite calling guest services to request the basics, complimentary water wasn’t replenished for a few days, and although the bed appeared made, the linen under the quilt hadn’t been straightened. This felt more like a capacity issue due to how busy the hotel was. These were very small things in our eyes and did not detract from what was otherwise a very positive stay. We would happily return.
