Grand Blue FAFA Resort & Spa offers 420 air-conditioned accommodations with a safe and complimentary bottles of water. Rooms open to balconies. My partner and I stayed at Grand Blue Fafa Resort & Spa for our first Valentine’s Day together, and unfortunately it was very disappointing. When we arrived, the main parking lot was full (we used the secondary lot), and the reception lines were extremely long — about 30–40 minutes. While waiting, we heard the guest in front of us complain about being given the wrong room. After checking in, our room was not decorated for Valentine’s Day as requested and confirmed, and it wasn’t the junior suite we paid for — it was labeled an “apartment.” We went back to reception and were moved, but the second room was also not decorated. Since we had already been given the wrong room once, we weren’t even sure if this one was correct. My partner didn’t want to use the bathroom at first in case we were told again it wasn’t our assigned room. The layout looked very different from the online photos, and we were told the Expedia pictures were from seven years ago. By the time this was resolved, it was nearly 8 PM. We hadn’t eaten, and the spa was closing within an hour, so we had very little time to enjoy what we booked. They offered a drink and late checkout, but that didn’t make up for the lost time since amenities open later and we still had to pack. Overall, it felt very unorganized and disappointing for such a special occasion.

Overall, the property is wonderful, but the staff, particularly the receptionists, are not very friendly. The ladies seem reluctant to do their jobs; they either take an excessively long time to assist guests or, when they finally do help, they often get it wrong. This is my biggest complaint— the resort really needs to invest in friendlier staff. They are unhelpful and seem indifferent to any concerns you might have. Additionally, there was a dining area that was clearly overcrowded, yet they continued to serve breakfast, resulting in a wait of 40 to 50 minutes. You would think they would extend the breakfast hours to accommodate guests, but they did not. The service was just terrible. The customer service was very disappointing.

Friendly and helpful staff, Julian delivered exceptional customer service/leadership skills, he is the man to go to with any queries or enquiries. We Loved the indoor pool, jacuzzi and spa services.
