I didn’t have enough time to enjoy all the opportunities the property had to offer. The front staff was helpful in accommodating my allergies, pillows, pets etc that I was unable to do through my online booking. Shout out to Guillermo. All Staff was friendly and helpful. Shout out to Travis in the game room who tips and tricks of the area like advanced park tickets and their locations, but others too as I waited for my food that was ordered from the kiosk. Loved the game room card with some preloaded credit! My son and I had a blast doing that and the bowling. Only thing I would suggest and that I don’t give 5 stars for was the carpet. I was surprised to see it in the hotel room with the allowance of pets but understand that the rooms might get cold without them too. (Just knowing there were pets and carpet, I didn’t love that. I was skeptical about my stay with pet allowance since I’ve previously gotten sick at another hotel that did but we didn’t not have any problems! I would definitely book here again. Loved the indoor and outdoor pool options, outdoor bar and lawn games, front lobby coffee and water filling station, free parking, free shuttle to GCNP, s’mores in the evening was cool too. I hope to be back and will definitely will refer to friends. Thank you IHG Squire for such a great and memorable experience!

Very nice hotel to stay at right outside the park. Lots of entertaining things to do for the kids. Free laundry room for guests, which helped us get caught up on laundry after being on a 2 week road trip.

The front office desk was staffed with people who seemed to not have a high degree of concern about issues and weren't going out of their way to be helpful. It's a generally corporate culture issue I think, where the people at the service desk aren't really going to be that helpful. It's not fair to say all were unhelpful, but the majority of those I interacted with weren't very helpful and seemed to be more focused on whatever they were doing on the screen than interacting directly with me. On the other hand, the grounds crew and maintenance people were very service friendly. I had an issue with the microwave in our room, also we ran out of some supplies and the maintenance staff was very responsive to my needs. And they did it with a smile. The front desk people might learn something from their maintenance staff. The chairs in our room weren't designed for moderate time seating. They were simple wooden chairs with a thin pad on the seat. Very uncomfortable to sit in. My room wasn't well designed. For example, you couldn't sit on the toilet and easily reach the toilet paper because of the location. The beds were okay in terms of comfort, but let's be honest and say that mattresses selections rarely satsify everyone. I liked that the hotel was VERY CLOSE to the Grand Canyon National Park entrance and that they accommodate EV charging for those with EV's.

Holiday Inn Tusayan

Breakfast is $20 per adult and children free. Resort fee mentions water bottles in room but we didn’t have any and not convenient to swing to lobby when room on other side of property. Beds were good. Pretty quiet stay. Loved being close to Grand Canyon.

The room was clean and restful. Loved all the activities for kids/families, from smores in the evening, swimming+movie night, ping pong, and to the arcade. The housekeeping staff consistently left dirty towels/sheets just sitting all along in the hallway, which was a little odd to see, and we even had one wadded up dirty sheet in our room when we arrived. For the area, it is a good value and quality. Just bring extra money for all the overpriced restaurants in the area! I really appreciated the hotel’s free coffee—at least saved on this!

We stayed here as part of a longer trip, stopped to see the Grand Canyon. The hotel is close to the entrance and convenient. The food options aren't fantastic and the lines were long. Everyone was very nice. The rooms could use a little TLC.

Very comfortable stay. The hotel has lots of amenities to occupy your time after visiting the Grand Canyon. Free coffee in the lobby, s'mores in the evening, arcade, bowling alley, swimming pool, e-bike rentals. Only fifteen minutes drive from the Grand Canyon Visitor Center. Would stay here again.
