Caution

We lost our home to fire & are very stressed. we reserved our room while looking for housing.much was good: friendly reception & Ca breakfast staff, good housekeeping on the whole,comfy beds.Room Frig very small & no microwaves.I expect Hilton to have exceptional hotels but this one in Grantville has a poor general manager. The sink was slow& a smell worsened to the point ofmold/ sewage & we finally realized that there was black mold flecks in the sink water.we had to bring up a gallon of water each day to wash hands & brush teeth.The shower was fine.So despite telling the desk everyday for 5-6 days about the smell,housekeeping cleaning & maintenance coming 3x to “fix”the problem,They didn’t fix the problem. The hotel was full & couldn’t change our room, but agreed on Sunday to change our room Monday& I extended our stay 2 more days. On Monday I asked to have a private talk with the general manager who was there so I didn’t have to discuss this sensitive issue in front of other guests.She only moved to another part of the front desk & so I was forced to respectfully recount our problem in front of others. Then I asked for a refund due to the unsafe water conditions& the fact that we actually drank some water for meds before we realized what the problem was. She refused; first I reasoned &then argued that it’s a public health safety issue. ‘then asked to just give us our new room; then the nom

We’ve chosen tru for the decor cleanliness however VERY disappointed with the change in breakfast for example the yogurt machine Horrible if this the direction Tru has opted please then sell the individual cups include dairy free the pancake machine another disappointment the pancakes are not warm perhaps neater but not appetizing at least the bagels and oatmeal has not changed in addition please have dairy free creamer available thank you for the tea and honey available especially at night much appreciated other than these concerns the hotel is very GOOD please insure that ALL of your sites have the same options thank you
