THE RESTAURANT WAS AMAZING AND THE STAFF SOOOOO FRIENDLY. DRINKS AFTERWARDS AND THE YOUNG MAN (BAR TENDER) WAS SWEET AND ACCOMMODATING. THE YOUNG GAL AT THE CHECK-IN COUNTER SEEMED A LITTLE ANTI-SOCIAL. SAID GOOD MORNING AT THE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST THE NEXT A.M. AND SHE DID NOT EVEN LOOK UP OR EVEN RESPOND, AND I WAS THE ONLY ONE THERE SO SHE HEARD ME. NO COMMENTS ON THE BREAKFAST, NO NOTHING. ALTHOUGH THE OLDER GAL WAS VERY FRIENDLY. DON'T THINK THE YOUNGER GIRL WANTED TO BE THERE.

I loved the fireplace lodge feel! It was great until I sat on the bed! It squeaked like Grandma's old bed. Terrible! Glad my husband wasn't with me. I was too loud all by myself, tossing and turning on the Terrible mattress.

Best place to stay in Hayward!

We had such a great time at Flatcreek! John and the rest of the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The room and the facilities were immaculate. They had so many options for breakfast and it was all delicious. We'll definitely stay here again ;)

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room we reserved wasn't ready, and for a moment we thought we didn't have a room. They did allow us into our room but the spa was under repair and unusable. They wanted to give us a discount but couldn't since we booked through Expedia. Our room was fairly clean, but there were remnants of previous guests (food crumbs) in the corners, and we didn't have bedding for the pullout couch. Pool area was nice, and breakfast was standard. We would stay again but not book through a 3rd party.
