The photos look nice and they have a hot tub, so my husband booked it. Turned out the hot tub has not been working for over a month and it was really too late for us to do anything about that. The rooms are updated but they don't show the bathrooms. The bathroom is a toilet and a small shower stall. The sink is in the room area with very little counter space. It was cold so we tried to turn the heater on and it stinks so badly that we could only run the fan to try to circulate air. I don't even want to know what we were breathing. The television reception kept flickering in and out for certain stations. One of the towels on the broken rack over the toilet had a hair on it. The sink had a slow drain so it was probably backing up. The beds were firm but a little too firm for me, but they did seem to be new, the pillows are way too thick but we always bring our own. Every time the stall door in the shower shuts it slams because the magnet is so strong, same with the outside doors so I could hear them even through my ear plugs when I was trying to sleep. So the rooms have been updated but not completely and those things are the things you won't see in the photos. We didn't eat the breakfast so I can't comment on that. The staff was professional and friendly.

This is an older hotel very nicely fixed up, with lots of thoughtful touches. We would stay here again. Good additions would be more eggs at breakfast, with more space to eat--and a reading chair with a bright light in the motel room.

Friendly staff, easy check in. The cleanest motel I’ve ever stayed it. Good variety for the grab and go breakfast and good coffee. Quiet and comfortable stay and very close to everything in Saugutak/Douglas area.

Clean and large room. Overall in good shape and large refrigerator. Bed was comfortable but bring your own pillows as while there were many there were very firm. Key code system for room lock worked well once you remembered how to use . Good location just a 15 minute walk to town . Continental breakfast was fine though nothing unique and good coffee.
