Nice Place!

This place was great. Clean, close to beach, large pool. We would stay here again! We had our 3 kids with us, 5,3 & 10 months. Would be nice if they offered a crib for infants with rental, but we were able to rent elsewhere. Pool was fantastic, warm even on the cold days. Kids were swimming in the pool by 8 AM almost every day!

Beach condo

Very close to the beach which was lovely. Close to the trolly stops too. Enjoyed the pool, cleaned twice while we were there. Had some beach toys and beach chairs but no beach umbrella, wagon or cooler. Kitchen well stocked and maintained. Not many blankets so called and asked for more and they brought them that day. All in all a beautiful spot. Loved overlooking the pond. Quiet neighborhood.

Very poor service

They were five or six things that went wrong during the stay. Each time I contacted the renting company there was no response for days from the local affiliate. Which was very disappointing having to wait around for somebody to respond back to a concern or a problem with the property I had. Was not a very good experience at all

Perfect for our family of 5!

This house was the perfect location and perfect set up for our family of 5! The beach was just a 2 minute golf-cart drive away. The restaurants and shops were just a few minutes away as well...so happy we chose to rent a golf cart as this is how we got around for the week. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and the pool while small, served as a nice cool off from the heat. We would stay here again for sure!

OK stay with vacasa

Upon arrival to the property we noticed a number of random things that seemed out of place (bbq cover off and on the outside lounging chairs, hose in the pool, beach chair broken, garburator broken, lipstick stains and crud on clean wine glasses and utensils, film around master shower tub drain). I contacted the property management company through text as that is how they initiated a conversation and was told someone would follow up in the coming days. Randomly on day 3 or 4 a maintenance crew member showed up to the door at dinner time to “fix our list of issues”. We let him know we cleaned up everything else (reluctantly) but that the garburator was still broken. He came in and fixed it while we were away but never didn’t hear anything from the management company about the other issues ……. Mid stay the pool maintenance crew showed up unannounced with loud equipment and proceeded to clean the yard and pool while we went inside for a snack. After explaining to the crew that we weren’t checking out for another 3 days and that our children were sleeping inside, they left without a fuss. I then sent a message to the property management crew asking them to follow up about the unexpected visit since this wasn’t acceptable either and never heard a word back. STILL. Overall the rental was OK… I think it’s hard to have a bad time on this island but the price tag didn’t exactly line up with quality of the home or service. Also side note: the lot next door appears to be starting construction on a new build in the upcoming weeks (lots of activity next door, large trucks/ noises)…. Let’s just say I would have been a VERY unhappy customer if we were vacationing next to that for 10 days. Who wouldn’t be ?

Rental has nice pool and private back yard. Easy walk to beach. Not enough pans and storage containers. We cooked most nights because to hard to get in anywhere to eat. Just would like to see these rentals leave hand soap and if you stay 7 days 7 garbage bags 7 dishwashers soap ect.

Fantastic location and modern house

We loved everything about the island and this house. Steps to beach. Pool was great. Beds were comfortable. House was as pictured and more. The AC was frozen over the first day, but Vacasa came out first thing the next morning to fix it and it worked great the rest of the week.

Fun week in the sun and surf

The house was perfect for what we needed for the week. We did need to call for maintenance for the pool and tv. I was informed I would receive a call back within the hour but never did. However maintenance employees showed up several hours later to address and fix our concerns (both gentlemen were very professional). Only 2 negatives: 1. The weekly pool cleaning was Thursday morning followed by the lawnlanscaper later that afternoon. The landscaper blew all the sand and mulch off the patio into pool. We had to clean out the pool ourselves the best we could. 2. The house next door was a condemn home house in really bad shape. We spoke with an inspector on the property and informed us the house was going to be torn down the following week. ALERT - there will be construction next door for those staying the remainder of 2021. You will not have peace and quiet while enjoying the pool. We definitely stay again, just after the new home is built next door.

Good location, just what we needed

Nice property. Looks exactly as it does in the pictures. Quiet area. The cleanliness looked good on the surface but there were a few things that irked me (bathroom rugs had clearly never been washed, and the bed frames could visibly use a vacuuming once you lift up the covers). To be fair I am a bit of a neat freak and these two items may not have bothered someone else. Other than that our stay was lovely. We had an issue with the pool filter not working and the property manager was responsive, sent someone out in the morning and it was fixed. Property manager has a number where they can be reached 24/7 which was great too.

We’ll be back!

Loved this beautiful beach home so much! Location is fantastic, property is beautiful...lovely beachy decor and comfortable for a group of 6. The high vaulted ceilings help the house feel roomy and open. Never heard noise from the adjoining duplex, it is obviously well built. Coffee or wine on the dock was my favorite...so peaceful and relaxing out there...I miss it already. We have stayed at many (larger) homes on AMI, but this was honestly my favorite because of the backyard and the decor. Would love to return in the future :-)

Good Stay

Nice home, close to beach. Only issues we had were: pool supply room would not unlock; pool light was out, fixed, and then went out again; water in fridge would not work and was never fixed due to having to defrost the entire freezer; pool was not heated to temperature that was paid for upon arrival; and the security keypad for the lock did not work. A one-hour late check out was allowed for our convenience. We plan on coming back and will keep VACASA on our list. In three VACASA trips, this is the only one we had issues with.

Very clean nicely decorated house

The house was clean and nicely decorated in a great location . The only negative,which unfortunately for us was a big one, was the outside area. Although beautiful to look at, we were unable to sit comfortably outside as there were no cushion provided for the outside sun loungers which were hard plastic with no “give”. I did call Vacasa who were very responsive and contacted the owner. The response was that no cushions appear in the photos of the property and therefore we couldn’t expect any to be provided. We visit Anna Maria twice a year and have done for almost 20 years and for the first time would not return or recommend staying at this property.

Beautiful duplex & location

Our family of 6 had great time on AMI. This duplex is clean & quiet. One block from beach, beach towels were provided. Beach chairs and buggy are by the pool & seem to left behind by previous renters. We found foam cooler in laundry room. We stayed in to cook some evenings. The only fault with this condo was lack of basic supplies. Two dishwasher tabs, one dishcloth to wash with one to dry with. No laundry detergent, or hand wash in the kitchen. Have stayed in similar priced rentals that were better equipped. Best beach we found was Bean Point, Park on Gladious Street. Loved the free beach trolley. Make sure to visit Omah’s Pizza, Skinny’s & The Ugly Grouper. Rent a golf cart for the day, so much fun! Would stay again for sure!
