The Gables by AMIBeachClub
Unwind at this colonial inspired beach house with private pool. The Gables has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths with an open plan living/kitchen/dining which is perfect for a family vacation or retreat with friends. Located in Holmes Beach, the home is only a short walk (approx. 6 min) to the beautiful Gulf beach. The house has been lovingly decorated with hand-picked vintage pieces to give the home a classic old Florida feel. Enjoy our 2020 budget-friendly pricing.

We live on AMI and are happy to answer any questions or needs you may have during your vacation at our home.

There is free parking for 4 cars in the driveway. You can also rent a golf cart from Hodo Golf Carts, Beach Bums or Zoom Around to explore the island at a leisurely pace. Alternatively, subject to availability rent one of our 6 cruiser bicycles. There is also a free island trolley service which runs daily around the island (approximately every 20 min). There is a trolley stop just outside both properties to easily hop-on and off.

The Gables is a fantastic place to stay. My wife and I stayed for ten days with our family and the house suited our needs perfectly.The house is very well located for the beaches, shops and local restaurants. The house was presented very well and it was very clean and tidy.It has well sized rooms throughout and a lovely well stocked kitchen. The laundry facility was great and perfect for our needs. The outdoor eating area is lovely and we used it on several occasions. The pool area was perfect and had plenty of sunbeds and pool toys for kids were available.The access arrangements were smooth and very straightforward, and the communication with the owners was excellent before, during and after our stay. We really enjoyed staying at the house and we all agree that we’d definitely like to stay there again.Thanks for letting us stay……..fab house and a fab place to go on holiday.

Best week of ever

We loved everything about this house. Location was great, house was centralized to everything. The owners made a couple of trips to the house to unlock bikes and fix one of the tvs, no questions asked they were there so fast and very responsive. House was super clean and made the perfect place for our family. Would love to come back soon!

Wonderful Week on Anna Maria

My family and I stayed a week at this home and we loved it! The pool was the perfect temperature and we were in it every day. We rented a golf cart and took easy trips to the grocery store, shops, and beaches. The shed was full of everything we needed for the beach; chairs, an umbrella, a wagon, beach toys... The house was exactly as described in the listing, and the owners were very welcoming and responsive to any questions. When we accidentally left a cell phone AND our car keys at the house, the owners graciously drove them to meet us at the airport and also refused to take the money we offered them for being our heroes. If you are traveling with family to Anna Maria, this is your place.

The Perfect AMI Getaway

We had an amazing stay at The Gables! The house was super comfortable, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a perfect family getaway. The open layout made it easy to hang out together, and the bedrooms were spacious and cozy.The private pool was a huge hit—we spent so much time swimming and relaxing. And the location? Perfect! Just a short, easy walk to the beach, which made morning and evening strolls so enjoyable. Super close to Ugly Grouper, the skatepark lots more. My wife and son absolutely loved it here, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The hosts were great—friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed.If you’re looking for a relaxing, fun, and stress-free spot on AMI, this is the place. Can’t wait to come back!

Top notch vacation property.

House was very comfortable. We appreciated the touches of “Old Florida” ambiance in the design and furnishings. Pool and deck were a big hit with family and small children. Nearby beaches beautiful and an easy walk. Plenty of beach equipment and sand toys.

4 adult couples winter getaway

Great location. Appears loud being so close to the busy road but you do not notice any noise while in the pool area, it is well secluded with palm trees, very tropical and pretty. Pool needed to be warmer to swim. All rooms were great, all guests were happy. Enjoyed open layout of the house. Grounds were very pretty, we enjoyed sitting on the porch and in the pool area. Renting bikes is a huge plus since parking can be difficult. Location of house was great, centrally located to everything. SeaBreeze was very responsive to our questions and requests. Great stay on a beautiful island!

The Gables

This is a pleasant property, well furnished for our needs. Easy two block walk to the beach. It’s not as bright as the photos, but very comfortable. Except the master bed which needs mattress replacement - very noisy and squeaky. It accommodated our party of seven comfortably - two couples and three children. Pool is heated, beach and pool toys included. It’s on a fairly busy street, but the noise was only an issue when at the pool. Anna Maria is a nice place to visit, and this is a good choice to stay at.

Great Anna Maria house

The property was well situated off Marina Dr one of the main roads - pool rooms dining area was great. Lots of beach chairs and wagon etc made it way to walk the three blocks to thr beach. It was super clean and room sizes were comfortable. Note thr rooms are all on the second floor so if you have an older person or really little ones you’ll have to contend with the stairs. The kitchen was a little on the small side in terms of counter space (note washer and dryer are in the kitchen ) but appliances worked well except the electric stove which incouldnt figure out thr heat settings (I’m used to gas). Only thing really missing was more plastic wear to use outside and for kids, tumblers to take to beach, basic food items like salt and pepper. Also minor detail but get some new bar stools please. They were cute but not comfortable at all and had lots of exposed screws that scraped my kids. Other than some small details the house and management were awesome and would recommend for two families with kids.

Perfect family vacation

We were a 3 generation family that included ages 12-60. We had to cancel a cruise vacation 3 times during Covid. We finally gave up and decided to give Florida a try. Prior to our trip, Valerie was great for answering questions and keeping me informed of when the property would be ready. The property was even better than the listing stated. Great downstairs layout where you could get away from the crowd if you wanted. 4 upstairs bedrooms were perfectly laid out with 3 of them have access to the porch/balcony. Distanced enough that you could easily take an afternoon nap without being disturbed. The kitchen was perfect for our needs. A BIG plus for me was that there was quality cookwear and knives in the kitchen. Not a big deal for some but would not having them would have been a miserable week in the kitchen for me, Pool layout was great, with 8 lounge chairs. The area was sun for part of the day and shade for part. Afternoons when we had too much sun on the beach, the kids could still be at the pool without getting sunburned. Beach chairs were great to take to the beach which was less than a 10 minute walk. We will definitely be back to the island and are hoping this property is available when to need it.

Better than we could have imagined!

I don’t know if I can summarize all the goodness of this property In one paragraph! This home Is amazing! It was immaculate! It was roomy and spacious enough for 2 adults and 4 teens. The fully stocked kitchen was a huge help for dining in. The bedrooms were spacious and comfy. Bathrooms were very clean (always a particular of mine!) The she’s was full Of beach items that made it so nice when we headed to the beach. Having the pool right there was another plus since we were trying to social distance from the crowds. We spent lots of time there. The new pool lights and fountain were gorgeous. The owners were very responsive and available for any issues. We will come back and The Gables is where we will stay!!

The house was clean and had everything we needed for a fun week. Owner was very responsive and friendly. The house is a couple of blocks from the beach, but the trolley stops at the end of the driveway and most things were walkable.

We had a great stay. Location is excellent. 9 min walk to the beach, but you can drive the short distance to the beach and park. Beach shed had everything in it - chairs. umbrellas and floats. House was clean and comfortable.

Spacious and clean inside and out

We had a wonderful week in Holmes Beach. Communication from the house caretaker was wonderful, and she offered many services that made our stay easier, like stocking up ahead of time on a few grocery items, and securing bike rentals. The house is well-appointed, clean, and comfortable. The private pool is just outside the front door, making quick dips or leisurely afternoons poolside a breeze. The house is located about a mile from the end of the island, with beach-side restaurants and cute ice cream stores. In one way, the location of the property is great because of access to the free trolley, but the location was also the one negative issue we had - which was traffic noise. The house (and the pool) are hidden from the main road by heavy bushes, but the traffic noise was surprisingly loud. We were there in the middle of peak tourist season, so that would certainly explain a lot of it. It wouldn’t stop us from staying there again, but it just wasn’t quite what I envisioned, never having been to AMI before. The amenities and service from the property manager positively overshadowed that one issue.

Thanksgiving Get Away

We had 7 people staying at the house during Thanksgiving week of which two were a 3 year old and a 6 month old. The first floor was nice and open, which was nice to be able to watch the kids while cooking and doing other things. The second floor had four bedrooms. Our 3 year old stayed in the master with us on a mattress on the floor and the 6 month old was in a crib in the queen bedroom. There was another room with twin beds. The fourth room had a day bed with a trundle, which was a great space but there was a big window that let in a lot of light and would have woken the 3 year old up at the crack of dawn. (Small children problems.) The house is within walking distance to a beautiful beach, the pool was a good side to cool off and hang out and the location on the island was well placed for all amenities - Publix, retaurants, etc. If timing works out next year for travel, we will definitely return.
