House Rules / Policies

- Primary guest must be 18+ to check in and register with a valid ID and matching credit card for incidentals.

- Check-In Location: All check-ins—including late-night arrivals—must process at the front desk inside the Grand Waikikian Tower lobby, not the Lagoon Tower.

- Daily Resort Charge: Retail cash reservations are subject to a mandatory daily resort charge of approximately $50.00 – $55.00+ USD per accommodation, per night, settled directly at the property. This fee covers high-speed guest Wi-Fi, cultural resort activities, outdoor fitness classes, and local/domestic long-distance phone calls.

- Timeshare Owner & Guest Exemption Policy: If checking in as an elite timeshare owner or an owner's personal guest via a direct points/week usage reservation through Hilton Grand Vacations Club (HGVC), standard daily resort fees are completely waived. Standard state and county transient accommodations taxes (TAT/OTAT/GET) and standard parking rates may still apply directly at checkout depending on reservation type and membership tier. Please present ownership credentials at check-in.

- Mandatory Hawaii State & County Taxes: Advertised room rates exclude standard mandatory lodging taxes and government charges. Transient accommodations are subject to a 10.25% Hawaii State Transient Accommodations Tax (TAT) alongside a 3.00% Oahu Transient Accommodations Tax (OTAT) for a combined 13.25% lodging tax. Reservations are additionally subject to Hawaii State's General Excise Tax (GET) of 4.0% (frequently passed to guests at an effective rate of 4.712% on Oahu due to local county surcharges). Any tax balances or adjustments not fully covered during your initial online booking must be settled directly with the front desk at checkout.

- Strict Quiet Hours: To preserve island serenity, quiet hours are strictly enforced between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Loud music, parties, and noisy gatherings are prohibited during these hours.

- Strict No Smoking Policy: No smoking. A fee of up to 300 USD will be assessed for smoking in a non-smoking room. Please ask the Front Desk for locations of designated outdoor smoking areas.

- Late Check-out Fees: Standard check-out is at 10:00 AM. Late check-out is subject to availability. A fee of $125.00 USD applies for extended stays from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM; departures after 3:00 PM will be assessed a full night's stay charge when available.

- Parking Fees: On-site self-parking in the main garage is available for $72.25 USD per day plus tax. Secured valet parking is available for $93.19 USD per day plus tax, with drop-off and pickup situated at the main Hilton Hawaiian Village lobby area. Daily rates for both options include unlimited in-and-out privileges.

- Oversized Vehicles: Vehicles exceeding standard height or length restrictions are assessed a rate of $115.18 USD per day plus tax. Oversized parking availability is extremely limited on-site and cannot be reserved or guaranteed in advance.

- No Pets Allowed: Service animals are exempt. Unauthorized pets face a 300 USD penalty.

- Activity Hours: Seasonal lagoon/pool activity hours and lifeguard schedules may vary.

- Maximum occupancy strictly enforced via premium bedding configurations and convenient sleeping arrangements.

All our luxury resorts use a system called Allocate Upon Arrival which means the actual suite you will be assigned to is given upon check-in. These photos are a combination of all the different suites on site. If you have a floor, unit or building number that you would like to stay in, please do not hesitate to ask. The full-time on-site reservation check-in staff is happy to do their best to accommodate your request. Please note since we do not place you in an exact unit and this is done by the front desk staff, we cannot guarantee the requests, but will do our best to make sure they are accommodated. If your reservation is more than 4 nights you may be assigned to a new suite for housekeeping purposes. Keeping our suites up to luxury standard is our top priority.

The person checking in must be 18 years of age (or older). With this notion, please prepare a VALID ID and credit card in your name. A $250 Pre-Authorization from any major credit card upon checking in is required. After purchase you will receive an email confirmation showing your name on the reservation as the guest checking in within 14 days of check in date. Please bring a valid form of Picture ID. However, if you would like to change the name of the person checking in after you have provided this information, there will be a $99.00 name change fee and $129 on the day of check in. Any damages will be charged upon check-out.
