Don't let the photos fool you

The room has everything I expected a hotel in this price range to be (old and a little dated) but the room had everything that I needed it to have (bed, toilet, shower, etc); I didn't see any bugs and it was reasonably quiet.... That being said, the hotel in the photos look warm and inviting and the hotel in reality is none of these. I would, and probably will stay here again but "amenities" and "atmosphere" don't matter as much to me as they might someone else.... I just needed am inexpensive place to crash for the night and that's exactly what this hotel is....

The room stunk. The tv didn’t work, had to change rooms second evening.$100 fine for taking food to your room. Baby roach near the coffer pot. Room carpet was dirty at the edges. I will never go to one of these again

Hallways were full of smoke and sounded like there were parties in the rooms at night. Loud place barely got any sleep. Elevator didn’t work when I was leaving and had to carry my bags down from the 3rd floor. Rooms also were outdated and everything seemed a little bit broken. This place needs to be renovated. Also found hairs in the shower, toilet seat, and bed. Pillows were also stained.

As soon as tou get to the property the space is so crowded outside. And it reeked of cigarette smoke. In the lobby, and even tho I got a non-smoking room, it still smelled sooo bad. Plus the conditions were not the best. I would not recommend this hotel.

The young lady working the front desk was very formal and helpful. She answered all of my questions clearly and politely. Very easy check in process, less than two minutes. Way better than my experiences at other branded hotels in Houston.
