We use the greenhouse Hotel as our homebase for the week. It was the perfect location for our southern coast of Iceland adventures. The room was incredibly clean, the beds were comfortable, and the shower was a great way to end each day. The staff were all very helpful, and ready to give recommendations of things to do with places to go. The food options and bar in the evening were always humming. you could tell it’s a really loved place to go to for tourist and locals alike. The breakfast every morning that was included was exceptional North American breakfast could learn from this place!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The parking was very easy. There is an elevator so you don’t have to carry your luggage up the stairs. The breakfast was very good. This was by far the best hotel we stayed at in Iceland.

This was our 2nd stay at the Greenhouse Hotel. It's a great location to several attractions in southern Iceland. The rooms are well appointed and beds were comfy. Loved the food hall and bar downstairs for different dining options.

Perfect for a short Stay

Very good for a night or two stay. Abit noisy at night with heavy doors shutting and its on a busy road . However a great concept and we liked the choice of foods in the market and shopping downstairs. Very close to ther restaurants as well. The rooms were very well done wiith a great shower room.

Casual and charming

We loved this hotel! Comfortable, casual and very pleasant. We chose it in part because of the food court in the lobby. That made the hotel an even better choice! It was fun and we enjoyed a variety of food and drinks. Hung out there at night for hours - guilty of staying until closing. lol. Seems popular with the locals too. The casual atmosphere totally fit our type of trip which involved a lot of hiking. Our rooms were spacious, clean and had large windows overlooking the beautiful scenery.

We mostly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It's definitely trying to be hip with layout and decor. The attached food hall was super fun and had a lot of good choices. The room was small, but had everything you needed. Note that they charge extra to have your room cleaned. Our only issue is that the bar in the food hall stays open until 1pm and there was a lot of noise outside our window from people going outside for a smoke after midnight.

Excellent-but make sure fire doors are closed

We had an outstanding stay at the hotel. We had a family room on the third floor and my son loved the bunk bed. Breakfast was delicious and included excellent brewed black tea. We had an issue our first night where the fire doors on all levels had been propped open by house keepers and then not closed which creates a huge fire hazard since all rooms sit off a main staircase with a restaurant at the base. I alerted the manager in the morning, who did a fantastic job of addressing my concerns and the doors were closed the rest of our stay. I was relieved because we really enjoyed our room but would have left the hotel that morning had they not addressed. I am posting this in part to alert future visitors and ensure they continue to close them.

Great hotel with a lot of variety for food and drink with their food court. The room was quite warm, but we hit at an unusually warm weather day. Breakfast was included and a lot of variety. Highly recommend!
