The property is close to town and easy access if you are taking the scenic train. The staff is friendly and willing to answer questions. There are small cabins and a motel on site. We stayed in the motel and rooms were old with an attempt at upkeep. The space is very limited but beds were very comfortable. I would stay somewhere else next time. There are many choices in the area.

The kitchen set up was great. The hosts thought of everything we anticipated needing. It was very clean. Where the motel and cottages are located is very quiet at night.
It was a very cute cottage and we felt like we were camping out.
The cottage faced west and the sunsets are beautiful!

We rented the 2 bedroom house but was just attach to the owners house. It was very old and outdated. The stairs were very dangerous- no handrail, very very steep and narrow. I fell down the flight of stairs - sprained my ankle and injured my arm. This would never pass code. The grounds were unkept. Not much for breakfast. The office and coffee room were so junky

I really enjoyed our stay at the motel part of the property. It was very homey and clean. We willl definitely stay there again in the future. Best part of the stay, a black bear walking by. ♥️

Everything was nice! All the staff were friendly. They offer coffee and some to go items for breakfast. Very laid back environment. Lots of toys for the kids. Not in pictures were basketball hoop, volleyball net, bean bag toss, and so much more. Perfect location….close to everything but nice and quiet.

Great family getaway

This place is an amazing deal! The beds and pillows were comfy, the AC was icy, pool was very clean and got great sun, pretty perennials planted around, and my husband says they have good coffee. The window blinds didn’t keep much sun out and no curtains. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Room was very clean and well kept. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My children loved the pool and playground. Much more affordable than some of the other nearby places. Close vicinity to Story Land.

We'll be back if in the area again.

Upon arrival I was wondering what I got us into. The property looks a little run down and the office was in what looked like an enclosed porch. The office had stuff everywhere, and by stuff I mean discarded toys and such. The coffee area was worse. Piles of household items covering half the room. Our room was nice and clean and very comfortable. There was a fire pit off to the side of the building and we asked if wood was available for purchase to have a campfire. The office staff had a fire going within minutes, no charge for wood. Overall we had a great time and would return.
