The hotel is centrally located right on Taksim Square, with plenty of shopping options nearby and Galataport just a few minutes away — a great base for exploring Istanbul. Our room was spacious and very clean, which we appreciated.
However, the breakfast experience was disappointing for a 5-star hotel. Many guests were walking around in hotel slippers and even adults in pajamas. Although there was a sign at the restaurant entrance stating this was not allowed, no one seemed to enforce it — which affected the overall atmosphere.
Additionally, the service at breakfast was not very attentive. We asked several staff members for fried eggs, and after waiting nearly an hour and asking four times, we eventually gave up and left. This should not happen in a luxury hotel.
On a positive note, the concierge team was very helpful and genuinely tried their best to assist with everything we needed.
In summary, a comfortable stay with a fantastic location — but the breakfast service and enforcement of standards need significant improvement to meet true 5-star expectations.
