The hotel is old, the room and bathroom looked a bit grungy, it could do with some repairs, cleaning (dirt spots engrained in old carpet) and upgrades. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

This is the place to stay if you go into Raleigh for a Carolina Hurricanes game. The hotel is within walking distance of the arena, so you save the $35-$45 it costs to park in the area. Plus, there’s a very nice breakfast included each morning. The savings in parking cost, plus the value of our two breakfasts if purchased elsewhere, likely covered 85% of the cost of the room itself.
