Welcome to 1326 Shipwatch, a relaxing 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo in the Destination Amelia Vacation Rental Collection. This fully-equipped, refurnished property is tucked within the southern-most cluster of the Shipwatch Villas, an oceanfront complex situated on the quiet, picturesque southern end of Amelia Island.

As guests arrive to the property they will take private roads shaded by beautiful live oak trees drenched in Spanish moss. Once at 1326 Shipwatch, guests will enjoy the condo's amazing location, coastal theme, and cozy accommodations, including luxurious mattresses and soft linens.

This second-story condo features a private balcony with a wooded view and easy access to the uncrowded beach and Shipwatch complex pool, which is heated in the winter months. There are also community grills, picnic tables and separate bike and golf cart parking areas available.

Bright and airy with hardwoods and tile throughout, our condo has a king bed in the main bedroom and queen bed in the guest bedroom. A queen sleeper sofa offers additional sleeping space in the living room. Guests will find flat screen TVs with live programming and streaming capabilities in both bedrooms as well as the living room. Of course, high-speed internet is provided and there is a landline phone with free long-distance calling if needed.

Pet owners will rejoice as dogs are considered at our property (*see below) and outside of Shipwatch, they can enjoy exploring the rest of the gated Amelia Island Plantation (AIP.) This sprawling 1,340-acre gated community is surrounded by maritime forests, tidal salt marshes and pristine, sandy beaches.

1326 Shipwatch is conveniently located for partaking in the dining, shopping, and spa services offered at the Omni Amelia Island Resort, located within the AIP. Golf is also available at Little Sandy and Oak Marsh right within the AIP.

With over 100 restaurants to choose from on the island, guests are never too far from fresh seafood and other eclectic fare. For a fun leisurely activity, explore the boutiques, bookstores, art galleries and other shops in the historic downtown of Fernandina Beach (about a 20-minute drive north) as you head towards the marina overlooking the Amelia River and facing the sunset.

For guests convenience, there's a washer and dryer, an iron and ironing board, hairdryers in each bathroom, and beach towels. All bed and bath linens are provided.

As part of this rental, a custom digital guestbook is provided with thorough property information and a local area guide sharing our favorite restaurants, attractions, and more! Excitingly, our guests are also eligible to receive a 15% discount on beach gear rentals.

*Please note that only dogs are considered and they must be approved by management. There are size and breed restrictions, and guests must agree to certain terms and conditions. A $150 nonrefundable pet fee will be required for each dog and guests must sign the pet agreement. If the pet fee is not automatically applied at booking, it will be after the reservation is created. Note that dogs must be current on all vaccinations, be house broken, be spayed or neutered, and must be sociable with people and other dogs. No cats or other pets will be considered.

**Please be advised this property is not a rental through the Omni Amelia Island Resort and does not give you access to "resort privileges or amenities.” This means there is restricted access to the main Omni hotel pool, fitness center, and shuttle service, and that Racquet Park only offers free play to club members and their guests. We will gladly answer any questions about area activities and our amenities.
