The Space:

The Lodge on this private island is a beautiful, single-story structure nestled amongst a grove of stately water oak trees. The large windows are designed to allow plenty of natural light to flood the interior. The house is shaded by the lush green canopy of the trees during the day, and as the sun rises in the mornings, the interior is bathed in warm, golden hues.



As you step inside, you are greeted by an open-plan living room and kitchen. The living room features large windows that offer stunning views of the wildlife and the surrounding waters, and the floors are made of wood themed tile that gleam in the sunlight. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, and has plenty of counter space for preparing meals. A small bar with seating for up to 4 is located next to the kitchen, perfect for intimate meals.



The bedroom area in the house is located opposite the kitchen. The living space has a comfortable King-size bed and a large window that offers views of the trees and the water. The room is decorated in warm colors, creating a relaxing and peaceful environment. Next to the kitchen is the bathroom which offers a shower/tub combo surrounded by beautiful porcelain tile.



The house is bordered by the shoreline and the sound of birds singing, providing a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The private island has plenty of room to explore, as you can walk along the gravel road around the island or toward the street to explore the waterway. Feel free to try your hand at fishing right off the back door landing or under the nearby viaduct. The island can be reached by boat or car and offers a perfect getaway for those who want to enjoy nature, tranquility, and privacy. Plenty of space to park a trailer and the nearest boat ramp is minutes away.



Guest Access:

Imagine waking up, changing into shorts, and taking your own kayak out for the day to explore the St. John's River and its tributaries, right outside your porch! Or if you don't have a kayak, maybe you'd like to fish for sheephead, redfish, flounder, and others right from the shore?



Enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinners at the breakfast bar with stools for 4.



The bedroom also offers high speed internet, large Smart HDTV, and a cozy stovepipe fireplace for you to keep warm on cold nights. Also includes a desk for remote workers to sit and relax by the fireplace while 'unplugging' as much as possible while working remotely.

Private Island in the "North Florida Keys" off of Heckscher Dr., very close to St. Johns River.



Getting Around:

Heckscher Dr will take you East/West.



Interstate 295 will take you everywhere else.



Other Things to Note:

Look carefully for the turn-off for Orahood Ln from Hecksher Dr. Trust your GPS.



Once on the single lane driveway, stay to the right at fork and house is the gray house on your right next to the waterline. Park beside or in front of the lodge.



Pets are welcome with $100 non-refundable pet fee.
