I recently stayed at this hotel and overall it was an okay experience. The room was fairly clean and the location is decent close enough to everything we needed, which made getting around convenient. However, there were a couple of issues that really impacted our stay. The biggest problem was the shower the water would turn cold, which made it pretty uncomfortable. After a long day, you expect a hot shower, so that was definitely disappointing. Our main reason for booking this hotel was the pool, and unfortunately that was the biggest letdown. The pool was way over-chlorinated. I’m not someone who usually complains about chlorine levels I understand pools need it but this was on another level. The smell was extremely strong, it burned our eyes, and it was actually affecting my breathing. It completely ruined our pool experience, which was the highlight we were looking forward to. With some adjustments to the water temperature and better pool maintenance, this place could be much better. Right now, though, those issues made the stay less enjoyable than it should have been.

The room was orderly and seemed fairly comfortable. However, upon entry of the room there was a very heavy smell that I can only describe as a fried fish smell. Not strong but as if it was cooked and still lingering. Also, the manual bolt lock on the door was faulty. They have a secondary stopper that you can flip open only from the inside and it prevents the door from just opening after the key card is scanned. The plus is definitely the layout and the design of the room. It had a nice view that can be appreciated even if it’s only a few smaller buildings out to see. We were in room 505

The bathtub was dirty and the molding in the bathroom was severly water damaged from what appeared to be standing water that had leached up the molding. The carpet in the "dining area" had some red spots that appeared to be food. The wall between the refrigirator and cabinets has lots of dirty build up that would be easy to clean. Air ventilation in sleeping area has musty smell, definately needs to be cleaned behind the grate which is probably a maintenance chore. Bed mattress does not have a mattress cover on it which is just gross. When I made the reservation I was not made aware there would be a charge for parking, and there was ONLY valet parking ($45.00 a night) available. When I checked in I was informed there would be a $250.00 hold on my credit card for 5 - 7 days for incidentals. Everything said, this was a Poor stay and do NOT recommend. Valet Parking service was polite, prompt, and cutious but unexpected and expensive.

Overall it was a decent stay, but for the price we spent for a night, it should’ve been better. The room wasn’t in the best condition, it was in good condition but should be maintained better. The bathroom counter was cracked and not put back together, could’ve easily cut someone. There was garbage left over from a prior guest in the kitchen cabinet. The pool area was overcrowded and not very kid friendly being that they allowed adults to drink alcohol by the pool; there wasn’t anyone to help maintain a positive or safe environment in that area. Parking in the neighborhood is scarce, and overnight parking costs $45 at the hotel if you don’t find a street parking. The breakfast was below average as a buffet; very basic breakfast items. The staff were friendly overall. We wouldn’t stay here again, but we made the most our trip overall.

-Got there and had to wait outside in the cold as the doors are locked and you need a valet attendant to open it for you -you must give your keys/car to a valet attendant before you can check in as there is no parking -I went to check in and was told they overbooked and didn’t have any of the room that we booked left and couldn’t issue a refund. Also told there was no way to talk to a manager for assistance. I ended up calling Hilton customer service and was told they actually had 20 such rooms available and all of a sudden the lady at the front desk could find us one. -the room was filthy and when I went back to the front desk to request clean sheets, the lady who had checked me in (initially denying availability of our room) was behind the wall loudly mocking me to the other lady working -no hot water in the shower -a lot of damage to the room including large stains on the carpeting and chairs, the temp control dial in the fridge was removed, chipped walls, etc. -a man was doing drugs in the hot tub when I went to take my girls swimming, but as the front desk lady had already made it clear she didn’t like me, we decided to just give up on it -Valet parking is required

Room was great & good location in the city! Staff are friendly & helpful! Breakfast buffet was well-stocked and the room had a lot of natural light! We were there when it was snowing, and they did a really good job, keeping things clear. We did have to do valet parking; parking ourselves was not an option, but they were really fast and bringing our car around when we needed to leave.
