Hello,
I paid an additional $500 for the concierge experience, and what I received was unacceptable. From the moment I arrived, it was clear this service did not meet even basic expectations. At the regular check-in counter, I could have been checked in immediately, but I was directed to concierge instead—where I was left waiting over 40 minutes just to receive my room key. That is not a premium experience.
Dinner was even worse. The so-called concierge lounge was overrun with more than 20 children of all ages—crying, screaming, and running around. It was chaotic and disruptive, making it impossible to relax or enjoy the meal. I spoke with several other couples, and they were equally devastated and frustrated. Many of us adults ended up leaving without finishing our meals. If this is marketed as a luxury, adult-focused experience, then families with children must be separated from guests who paid for peace, comfort, and quality.
To make matters worse, the food itself was flavorless, poorly presented, and the chef was visibly grumpy. This was far from the elevated experience I paid extra for.
Overall, the concierge upgrade or whatever experience they call it was a complete disappointment and not worth the cost.
