Half block to Duval - Stay at the Bonaire Suite

The Bonaire Suite is a bi-level suite decorated in a rich contemporary palm tree motif with two queen beds separated by a privacy curtain in the upstairs bedroom. The upstairs bath features a custom tumbled marble shower with glass door.

Downstairs is a living room with sofa that converts to a queen bed and a comfortable love seat. The large dining room easily seats six people. There also is a recently-installed half-bath on this floor for your convenience. Outside your door is a delightful, tropically landscaped courtyard with singing birds. This unit is so comfortable and special that you might not want to leave. But if you do, the "Duval Crawl" and famous Key West nightlife begins just a half-block away. Outdoor table and chairs overlooking the gardens are perfect for a romantic evening or a great place to meet your neighbors.

Within several blocks, at the end of Duval Street, is South Beach, with access to ocean swimming and an open-air restaurant and bar. If you prefer to take a quick dip, head over to the shared pool or work on your tan in the lushly landscaped courtyard right outside your door!

Note: Parking in Key West is very limited.  This property has no assigned parking, although free street parking is available. You will be responsible for finding parking for your vehicle. 

The individual making the reservation must be 25 years or older with proper identification and be an occupant of the property. The maximum number of people allowed in this property is 6. If there are more than 6 people are in your party upon arrival, your party will be asked to leave without compensation.
Violation of ANY house rules will result in your party being asked to leave without compensation.

This rental was great. It had two full or queen size beds upstairs, which was a bonus. The whole little complex was just adorable. Gated with the security code to enter. The pool was small, but just perfect for the complex and for adults. It was a short walk to everything you could possibly want to do. We did not even have a car the entire time we were there. Would definitely recommend this place.

Everything was perfect, just wish the listing would’ve clarified only 1 dog before we booked nonrefundable vacation protection. We needed a place we could bring both dogs and this said pets welcome but didn’t tell us until after we booked that meant just one dog. Otherwise great place; clean, accurate listing, nice people; safe; great location.

The courtyard was wonderful. Yenz was great as well, very helpful and friendly. The rooms were nice, the beds had something to be desired. Thought they were queen size so smaller than we thought also very uncomfortable.

Great little place

Perfect location. Would hesitate to stay in warmer months

The property is beautiful. The location is excellent to walk wherever you want to go. The neighbors are warm and welcoming. The house has everything you need for a week stay. Full kitchen and cookware, etc. Only down side was the upstairs is too warm. We were okay cause it was November, but it was much warmer than we would have liked.

Your description of this unit was spot on. It is centrally located and was easy to navigate. The only downside is parking is very limited. (But that is the case all over town) The courtyard was delightful and kept spotless. The unit itself was everything we needed.

Disaster in Paradise

Look, I get it. Key West is a bar, nightlife, and party mecca. I don’t expect the most luxurious of offerings or lodgings from the southernmost land of never ending frat party energy. I’ve been here before, let’s not pretend it’s something it’s not. But geez- this place was truly unacceptable. And it turned into a disaster. I’ve been sitting on this review for a few days, trying to wrap my head around our experience, but everyone I’ve talked to (my dermatologist included) assures me that I’m not, in fact, insane and to let VRBO know what went down. There was dust and mildew everywhere. Hair in our beds, and blood on our bedspreads. Not a crime scene, but human fluids nonetheless. Perhaps from a drunken stumble or rough rendezvous. Vomit on the bed skirt aged like hard cheese. I’m kicking myself for not bringing my UV flashlight, but part of me is glad I didn’t. After noting that the condo was filthy upon arrival, the next morning we were awoken by frantic knocking on the door, and someone keyed in the code and tried to open the door. Thank goodness it was latched from the inside. Apparently this was someone with the company or homeowner who received my message and wanted to try to make things right. After some clean up and repairs, a $100 bill was pressed into my palm, and he skadaddled away fast. Okay. Thanks, I guess? On the second night, the itching began. Welts on my body. Yes, reader. Bed bugs. Find somewhere else to stay. I didn’t want to believe it, but my doctor did.

Awesome place!

I would never expect this much peace and quiet 1/2 block off Duvall, but there it is. Our blender threw a rod? No problem, better model there minutes later. Like they had it on hand! I really appreciate the hospitality, location and amenities!

Location, Location, Location

Pros…very convenient location for anywhere you want to go. Beautiful common area! Felt very safe and quiet. Cons….pullout sofa is dated and not comfortable at all to sleep on. Tile floors must not get mopped as a regular part of cleaning. Your feet will be black in very short order when walking around barefoot inside this unit. Hopefully they see this and make this easy improvement. Overall a great rental!

Our Stay

The check in was easy. It's at a different local and they were all pleasant, even gave us a ride to property. The unit was great. The shower I was not sure if it was the type of tile or needed a better cleaning. It felt a bit slick. AC downstairs worked well upstairs not as good. The trick is to leave blinds and bedroom door closed. It was then doable. The court yard was darling. Location of unit perfect. It was only one street off Duval. We walked nearly everywhere. Only used uber to and from airport. Leaving a bit confused what we needed to do with linens. One place said to just put towels on bathroom floor and another spot it said both towels and linens. I chose to be safe and strip beds. There is a coin washer/dryer if needed. Would I stay there again? Absolutely!

Great location!

The property was great! Just as described and in a great location. We loved being able to walk everywhere and the courtyard was so pretty. Highly recommend this property if you’re looking for a nice, quiet place that’s still close to everything in Key West.
