This grand mansion begs for your company with a frosty beverage in hand and a balmy breeze to carry away your troubles. Sitting under a wild orchid tree on Southard Street, you are a stone's throw from the magic and excitement of Duval and the historic seaport. Slip on your comfiest flip flops and ease on down to fabulous dining, boutiques and galleries. A contactless check in/out process with a virtual innkeeper allows for a seamless experience!

As you enter, take a cool respite in the parlor that offers plush seating, a Keurig machine, unlimited coffee k-cups, microwave, ice machine, and a filtered water cooler. Read your favorite novel by the light of tropical sunshine or turn on cozy lamps when the sun sets. A wall-mounted TV offers an alternative diversion while you are waiting for your night out on the town. You will also find extra towels and an area for storing luggage during your arrival or departure. A lovely, small powder room is located at the base of the stairs for your comfort and convenience.

Travel up the steps and enter this exclusive king suite, flooded with Key West sunshine from large windows and a private door leading out to the upper porch The light and airy decor of the living room instantly puts you in relaxed vacation mode. Sink into the couch or plush seating and enjoy your large wall-mounted TV. A desk area, coffee table, reading lamps and wet bar counter complete your needs. Enter the bedroom where you are welcomed by a sumptuous king bed, four large windows, mounted TV, dresser, cushioned window seating, door to outside porch and ensuite bathroom with glass shower, large sink area and private toilet nook. Enjoy a Keurig machine for your morning cup of coffee to start the day as well as a mini fridge for all of your essentials.

OUTDOOR LIVING...
The exquisite upper and lower porches overlook a large, sparkling pool (heated in winter months) and beautifully landscaped garden deck. Wash your cares away with a swim and enjoy a fruit-infused cocktail in your deck lounger. Discover your zen amid the lush vegetation and cool island breezes.

There is street parking only. You may park on the street in spaces not marked as residential. There are several non-residential spaces in the surrounding area, and also a pay lot less than 2 blocks away, but you can usually find something on the street.

We really enjoyed our stay and give it our highest ranking. Great location room size was great. We will be back. However; there are a few small things that could be improved. The Sofa and chairs were very uncomfortable to sit on. The fire alarm in the bedroom flashes green all night. These are very small issues to deal with. Again we loved the place

We had a BLAST! Everything that we wanted to do was in walking distance. Sarah Beth’s is right across the street …….we had some great food there and the service was top notch. Our room had lots of space and was spotless! The bed slept as well my bed at home. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

Our stay was exceptional from start to finish. The bed may have been the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in — truly next level. The host was responsive and helpful with every question we had, which made everything seamless.We especially enjoyed the balconies and the pool. While the pool is on the smaller side, it was more than spacious enough for us and a handful of other guests. The water temperature was perfect — warm enough to relax in, yet cool enough to refresh us after long days in the Key West heat.The location couldn’t have been better. It’s just steps from Duval Street, yet tucked away enough to offer a peaceful break from the noise when you’re ready to recharge before your next adventure.One thing to note: there’s no elevator, so carrying a heavy suitcase upstairs can be a bit of a workout. That said, it was absolutely worth it.We would gladly stay here again and again.

This is our new favorite place to stay in Key West! The room was very spacious, there was a de-humidifier which was a godsend, the bed was gloriously comfortable, and the shower was hot with plenty of water pressure.

1) The mildewed smell and dehumidifier. Bedroom smelled moldy and dehumidifier filled up in less than a day. It was hard to empty as it filled up to the brim. So every day we had to roll dehumidifier to bathroom to dump it because if you tried to pull catch basin it just spilled. Not something I want to deal with on vacation!2) Bathroom sink did not drain properly. 3) Ice maker in common area unplugged multiple times so no ice available.4) Don’t advertise “ample” on-street parking. First day arrived had to park 3-4 blocks away to find a non-reserved space. There is parking but it was like a bit of a scavenger hunt unless you wanted to pay 15/day.The property is absolutely stunning and the room was gorgeous. The location was top notch. Well appointed but the above items were not something I expected to deal with at that price point.

Scarlet Mango was an absolutely fantastic place to stay. It was close enough to Duval, but was quiet at night. The room itself was absolutely luxurious, furniture was super comfortable and it was beautifully appointed. It was truly our own little oasis in Key West. Our innkeepers were very communicative and responsive. We will definitely be staying here again.

Scarlet Mango Inn - Scarlet suite

the property & the suite exceeded our expectations by miles. the suite was spotless, with stylish decor, superior furnishings and a very comfortable bed. 2 balconies, one being private off the bedroom...a great feature! the property includes a small pool with a deck, another great feature. lush landscaping enhanced the tropical feel and provided additional privacy. another perk is the location, allowing a 10-20 minute walk to everything in Old Town. this is without question a 5 star property.

Very Nice

Had a great stay. Suite was spacious, which is rare in key West. Nicely decorated with very comfortable furnishings. Property is well done and very clean, with nice garden and heated pool. Restaurants and shops only steps away. Very few cons—only very minor details but otherwise a great place to relax.

Perfect location & accommodations!

We stayed here for 4 nights while we celebrated our wedding in Key West! This property is our new favorite and we will be staying again. We were in the Scarlet Room and it was amazing. A ton of space, perfectly clean, and location is one block off duval but pretty quiet street! We had several girls getting ready here for the morning of wedding and it was just perfect! The property was always kept in pristine condition and the pool was a great addition.

What a great place!!

This property was really nice! The location was perfect for us, and we walked everywhere (for reference we are a couple in our 50’s) and didn’t need a car or golf cart at all. The building was beautiful and historic, perfectly remodeled, and tastefully decorated. Suite was huge and very well appointed .
