My first trip to Japan- I’d stay here again. Breakfast each morning made it so easy to get started for the day. Staff are so helpful, my room was so clean. I caught a taxi from Kyoto Station for ease (under $20au) and walked to the markets and shops from the hotel. 7/11 2 blocks away has a great selection of convenience food. Buses are close by and cheap too. From a solo female traveller.
