Lovely room, well located but didn’t use the pricey restaurant at all - better options nearby. Onsen relatively basic but very calm and empty every time we used our separate sides. Shower in the room was AMAZING!

We absolutely loved our stay here. It is the perfect location as it’s very walkable and in the heart of the best shopping area in Kyoto. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. We had to (and were very excited to) extend our stay by 1 night and they made it happen with no problems. My boyfriend ended up proposing in Kyoto and the concierge Chihiro helped me find a place to get my nails done same day and book a celebratory dinner! She even called ahead to make sure the restaurant knew and they gave us yummy dessert. When we checked out, the hotel staff had a present waiting for us. We ended up shipping our bags to our next destination too which was super easy with their help. Overall, such a fantastic experience.
