Excellent sauna, breakfast buffet, location

Check in - friendly, helpful, moves fast enough. Sauna opens on check in, so its not full in the afternoon but busy at night Rooms - clean and nice. We had the 2 singles and 1 queen, and it was like a 2 bedroom suite. Rooms are not big, so if you have a lot of luggage, it will be tight. But, they use the space very very well, with a lot of convenient extras (i.e, baskets for your sauna trip, water and snacks in fridge, cubbies) Food Breakfast buffet is great. Well stocked buffet doesn’t fun out of food. Japanese section is the best. Coffee machine and drinks are great. Free yogurt drink in the morning in the relaxation room, free ice cream in the afternoon. Location Near Kyoto Station, you can walk from there to the hotel. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. A Don Quiote is minutes away. Other No shoes in the hotel. They clean your luggage wheels before you check in. This can be getting used it.

Great close to station option

The stay and staff were amazing, be mindful that this is close to the Kyoto station which is super convenient. But, there were many families and other travelers who stayed here. The onsen was great until we encountered families where kids took it as a swimming pool not at relaxation spa. Late night ramen was easily missable and there are quite a few options of dinner you can check out in the area. Overall, we liked staying here due to the convenience of the station and easily navigable. The staff was helpful and patient hope we can visit Kyoto again soon!

We stayed at this hotel in both Kyoto & Osaka. Both have onsens but these felt superior. The massage chairs were also a great boost to what they offer and staff was great and helpful. At a great location and a place I would absolutely return to when back in Kyoto. Can be a bit busy during peak hours but still find times to take advantage of amenities.

Great spot near Kyoto station. The amenities are unbeatable. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the onsen was perfect for combating the soreness of our 25k step days! Onsen doesnt allow uncovered tatoos, but you can tatoo cover stickers for free from the front desk. I would love to stay here again.

Le buffet déjeuner était délicieux et toujours plein, même lorsque l’on arrivait vers la fin du service. Les bains étaient propres, nous avions accès à plusieurs options dont un bain de méditation. La chambre était spacieuse pour un hôtel japonais, mais le lit était très dur (nous nous sommes habitués après quelques nuits). Dans l’ensemble, nous avons eu une très belle expérience !

Enjoyed this property but it was fully packed and everywhere was busy!! I would recommend putting timer on the massage chairs. The ramen and ice cream were the best!! Clean and comfy. Easy to get around. Close to station and buses

The hot spring bath was excellent! Staffs were very friendly and the property was well maintained and clean. Near by bus stop, subway and JR station for sight-seeing. It offers free ramen for supper and free ice cream at night!

The room I got is the largest room which has sufficient space for 3 people. The onsen is very clean and has different types of spring water. My family enjoyed the stay in this hotel. The only thing I am not a fan of is the no shoe policy in the hotel because we still have luggage rolling around.

The stay was absolutely surreal. Breakfast was worth the extra $20/pp USD so don't skip. The Onsen was a really neat experience and the body & hair products were literally top notch. The only complaint are the pillows. They are really bad. Luckily walking 20k steps means you can sleep on the ground you are so tired. Would stay again but maybe buy a pillow. Like for real for real.
