If we had known about this hotel earlier, we would have made it our main base in Kyoto. The location is extremely convenient, with easy access to both bus and train lines, and plenty of dining options in the surrounding area. The hotel itself is excellent and clearly very popular. The onsen is superb—spanning multiple floors—and the property offers a number of thoughtful extras, including complimentary ramen from 9 to 11 p.m., which was a fun and welcome touch. Overall, we were truly glad to have stayed here. It’s a fantastic, well-located hotel that makes exploring Kyoto effortless.

Hotel is in great location close to Kyoto station. The hot spring onsen is one of the most relaxing things I have ever expedited. Only issue is room had a bit of a smell to it but it wasn’t terrible.

Staff, amenities and one of the best hotels we have ever been. Hot spring from 3pm to the next morning at 10am with free popsicles all day long. They even serve dessert in the afternoon and free dessert, and hot soba noodles starting at 9 PM. Hotel is very clean. You take off your shoes once you walk into the hotel, and you can wear your socks or barefoot. And a hot spring experience is great.
