Super nice hotel - very comfortable bed. Fluffy pillows and duvet. Breakfast has great options with continental and Japanese selection of foods. Also free onsen type public bath that works until 1am is a blessing after long explorative walks in Kyoto. Really good connections to public transport - bus (several stops less than 5min walk) and 10min walk to train station. plenty of dining options walkable distance and several grocery stores around.

We stayed 6 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Despite a large road outside, you couldn't hear anything from inside the hotel. All areas were modern and well maintained. Tambaguchi station was just over the road for trips into central Kyoto, and various buses also stopped nearby. Good selection of breakfast items. The only downside was no wardrobe or drawers for clothes, but we made do.

The S-Peria Hotel Kyoto was a very comfortable stay for us and our friends. The accomodations are small and efficient, but the beds are very soft (almost too soft). The highlight of the hotel is the public onsen, which is free to use and in superb condition with separate quarters for men and women to enjoy. Breakfast was also good and there is a large lobby with table to hang out with friends. The limiting factor for this hotel is that it is not located close to any of the main attractions in Kyoto and it is relatively difficult/long to take transit from here to these locations without walking 15-20 minutes to the rail/bus stop.

Great hotel which includes a public spa for patrons. Close to convenient stores, supermarket, pharmacy and station. One slight downside is that it's a little far from the main attractions.

Great experience!

Room service was outstanding. They provide you with everything you need for a comfortable stay at their hotel. It was very quiet despite being very close to a busy road. The price was very reasonable. I will make this my hotel of choice when staying in Kyoto again.

4 very nice nights

Stayed here 4 nights with my girlfriend who flew in from China and me from Texas. Very charming property. Staff was very nice and helpful. Close to train station, places to eat and shop.

Staying at this hotel during our visit to Kyoto was nothing short of a blissful experience. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were treated to an exceptional level of hospitality that's truly representative of the spirit of omotenashi, or Japanese hospitality. What immediately captured our hearts was the public bath. Immaculately maintained, it offered a tranquil, soothing atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring Kyoto's historic sites. The heat of the bath, combined with the serene ambiance, worked like magic to melt away all traces of fatigue. The friendly, helpful, and professional staff further elevated our experience. The Best Hotel Experience

Such a wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment we checked in to the time we checked out, everything was just perfect. Super friendly and polite staff, extremely clean and well kept, every day they made our beds and cleaned the bathrooms. The room was beautiful, modern and clean. The bathroom was pretty cool, the shower was separate from the toilet, nice deep tub and they provide all toiletries, shampoo, conditioner and body soap (full size). The toilet had some cool technology, sensor that opens the lid, it sprayed deodorizer, and had heated seat and bidet functions. The lobby had washcloths, razors, qtips, etc. complimentary for you to take. Our room's window opened slightly which is nice to let in some fresh air. Air conditioning worked well and even though it turns off when you remove your card the room was always nice and cool after we returned from a day of exploring and we had really sunny days (20 degrees cel.) The hotel had umbrellas as well that they gave us free of charge when we it was we had rainy days. There is vending machines, public bath and coin laundry on the main floor. The JR train station, Tambaguchi is literally a 4 minute walk from the hotel (across the street from 7eleven. It was so nice and super easy to get everywhere. Nijo castle is only one train stop away. Kyoto station is just a couple stops away. It was just the perfect location to get around Kyoto and to go exploring other places like Nara and Osaka. Very satisfied!
