Surprised that such an expensive hotel didn't have a microwave in the room or any useful furniture in the living room area (only a sleep sofa and one chair. No table of any kind). Also, Wi-Fi was so poor that it was completely useless. TV reception also poor. No safety grab bar in the shower. Expected better for the price. Staff was pleasant and everything was clean and neat. Breakfast choices were good and food quality was good. Excellent coffee.

Loved the location One block from Main Street across the street from Mirror Lake beach and Tennis Courts. Nice breakfast and coffee and tea is always available. Our King room faced the parking lot but we didn’t spend much time there.

Hotel was located across the street from Lake Mirrors beach which was open for swimming. Rooms were simple and spacious. Would stay again if traveling to Lake Placid again. Breakfast was okay, very continental so not my cup of tea but very typical of many hotels i have stayed in.

The Lake Placid Inn Boutique is the perfect location! For us, it was easy access to the bike trail, hiking to Mt. Marcy and sitting by Clear Lake, which is just across the street! The beds were very comfortable, shower was excellent, room was clean and there was a nice view of the mountains from our window. Staff was friendly and courteous and the breakfast buffet was delicious!
