The property for a family was very good with seperate room with 2 twin beds and a kitchenette. Its very convenient to Dark sky project. We arrived late, but the front desk was nice to have the keys tucked in for our self checkin. That reduced a bit of anxiety. Downside is that the interior is bit showing age. The room door was cracked and broken. It looked bad . Wish they had patched up and made it look normal. so reduced star.

Gateway to Mt Cook & stopover to Christchurch

Great location close to a great range of restaurants. comfortable, clean. Good hotel but a little hard to find. It would be a good gateway to Mt Cook (unfortunately the weather closed in on us).

A pleasant one night stay at the motel. Very lovely lady on reception. Motel is right in the middle of Tekapo. Some OK restaurants nearby and a supermarket in walking distance. Parking was free outside the motel. Room was comfortable. Very useful to have laundrette facilities at the motel ($4 each for washer and dryer). Breakfast was a voucher for a nearby cafe and breakfast was OK. Overall perfect for one night, although compared to other stops we’ve made in New Zealand, it wasn’t the best value.

We stayed for one night at this hotel. Convenient location with lots of amenities around. No staff there upon arrival or departure, however the check in process was easy. Unfortunately there was no parking at all available. The room was clean and had a bathtub with jets. Comfortable bed and lots of clean towels. A nice stay overall. 2 coupons for a free breakfast at a nearby restaurant were a nice touch.

The property was convenient and the balcony was great. The only downside was staying in Unit 14, there was a security light that came on and off all night from an adjoining property. The glass door needs blockout.

Great location and spacious - recommended.
