Nothing impressed me about the hotel. Issues from the time of check-in to check-out. Flys, construction, had to change rooms, came back to room from the day and key did not work. Breakfast worse experience. Spent 40 minutes in the cafe and never ate. We had to wait for the OJ to been refreshed, flies everywhere, tried making waffles, asked for assistance, after several attempts the waiter realized the machine was on warm and she didn't turn it on. 2 more attempts and the other waiter realized the batter was not good. We just left without breakfast. Asked to see a manager, MIA.

We stay at Lancaster Inn & Suites 2x a year when visiting family. Always a joy to stay here. Even with the massive renovations the staff was amazing, it was quiet, and kept clean. The staff always goes out of their way to make us feel welcome. Love the newly renovated rooms!

The first thing I noticed in the bathroom was the shower was dirty. There was long pieces of hair on the shower walls. The shower was dirty more towards the top, basketball players use the showers so they should make sure someone is tall enough to clean above 6 feet. The facial tissue had enough tissue in the box for you to blow your nose twice and then it was empty, with no replacement box. They ran out of waffle mix. We went to eat breakfast around 9:30, the waffle mix was done. There should be a staff periodically checking supplies to make sure nothing runs out while breakfast hours are in effect. I went to the front desk to ask about the waffle mix, I rang the bell, no response. For all the money I paid for one night, I should’ve had a decent breakfast. I have an upcoming reservation which will be canceled once I book something else.

Bummer

Unfortunately when we used the hot tub it leaked downstairs into the washer and dryer room. They told us we could still use it but we didn't for the common courtesy, reasons. So what was suppose to be a great relaxing night ended up being a bummer. The room was being updated. No sheets for the pull out sofa. The bed was way too soft. But the people at the desk were absolutely terrific and very helpful when we asked for anything. That is why the overall rating was just good.

Hotel is close to the sports complex we were going to for the weekend. The hotel itself was fair. They were working on updating rooms, they ran out of coffee for the weekend, didn't make beds even after we aaked them if they could, the people upstairs were super loud. Its an ok place if you need the basics but thats about it. Wouldnt stay again

A little disappointing Manheim stay.

The hotel is definitely below average. There was some sort of construction/renovation going on during our stay, with the workers taking up the elevator and hall space. And … the breakfast area was dirty. The young man working the sitting/eating area had no inclination to clean or tidy up. The laundry room was not available, which was disappointing since the website said the hotel had the amenity available.

Dated/Unsafe

We were unable to stay at this property, it felt unsafe. There were people who lived there. We could hear them yelling through the wall. The carpet was dirty. The room had a terrible odor and the bath towels had yellow stains all over them and we’re not folded neatly and appeared to used. After checking in, we did not feel comfortable bringing our belongings to the room let alone sleeping in the room or in the bed. also, the couch that we would have used as a pullout couch blocked the front door so if the couch was open for someone to sleep in it, we would not be able to get in or out the door. We brought this to the attention of the front desk and they suggested that we check out and receive a refund. There was also mold on the bathroom walls and two of us suffer from asthma.

Typical transient motel heavily used by nearby huge auto auction. Sellers, buyers, truck drivers and some Amish country visitors. Bare bones breakfast and sparce furnishings. Very clean. Housekeeping does an excellent job.

When we checked in we were told that there was a basketball tournament in the area and some of the teams were staying in the hotel. We were warned that we may want to eat breakfast somewhere else on the weekend days. On Monday, they only had grab-and-go breakfast, which was juice, fruit cup, and yogurt only in one of our two bags. So 3 out of 5 days we had to buy breakfast off the property. Also, we had to put the heater together to make it work.
