When we first arrived I asked my husband to close the window because I thought there was a construction site outside. Unfortunately it was inside - a very noisy air conditioning unit. I had to request room servicing twice because we'd been missed and the bins were overflowing. We had sufficient towels but nowhere else to put rubbish. Not entirely the fault of the hotel, there was a constant background smell of smoke. With cigarette machines in the casinos there is a permanent layer of smoke which gets on to your clothes and back to the rooms. We had booked a non-smoking room but still noticed the smell on clothing when we got home and opened our cases. Foodwise The Bailiwick and The Copper Whisk are good options. Java is almost the same price as The Copper Whisk but no free refills making it more expensive. We also found the staff at Java could be quite rude - they would set up the payment and walk off then comment on the machine timing out as if it is the customer's fault. When this happened to us just before closing they said it had cancelled and I needed to authorise the payment again - even though a message had flashed up indicating authorisation. They wouldn't give me a receipt confirming it hadn't gone through so we refused the transaction. There are no hot drink making facilities in the room but there is an ice bucket for cold drinks. The one real positive is the website pictures were an accurate representation of our room.

Even though the hotel is clearly dated, the facilities the room is still ok. The toilet would make noise as if its filling up even when it wasnt used. Noise from other rooms especially the rooms above us is clearly noticeable and a bit loud. Staff was very prompt and attentive. The casino doesnt have that overpowering smell of cigarettes unlike those of the ones on the strip. It was a nice stay for a good price as well. The food court and restaurants within the area are good enough to satisfy your hunger. Pool is ok. We miss the buffet the Orleans used to have though.

Not my first choice to stay in Vegas but it was very clean, the rooms were quiet, and it was very convenient to the event we were attending at the Orleans Arena. It could use a few more service staff during busy hours.

I was there for BMX Racing I loved how easy it was to get to the arena. Room was big and the beds comfey. 2 draw backs was the food was pricy and and no frigerator in rooms.
