I booked this hotel for three nights and checked out after the first night around 6:00 a.m. because I did not feel comfortable staying longer. I was later charged for all three nights, even though the front desk staff told me at checkout that I would only be billed for one night.During my stay, the property felt more like long‑term housing than a typical hotel, and the hallways had strong odors of smoke and alcohol. As a solo disabled traveler with a dog, I did not feel safe going outside at night.My room had stained bedding, worn and damaged furniture, poor TV reception, and there was no hot water when I tried to shower around 4:00 a.m. I also saw insects on the walls, which made the room feel unsanitary.In my opinion, the current condition of the property does not match the photos shown online. Because of the cleanliness concerns, maintenance issues, and the billing problem, I would not choose to stay here again.

Definitely was an outdated hotel. It was clean and it sufficed for the two days. It seems more like a local hotel with local people staying. It doesn’t seem like it’s a very big chain type.

The building needs to be demolished and rebuilt. The stucco on the walls is peeling, the tv didn't work, the curtains didn't close all the way, no tea at breakfast, furniture falling apart. Bed was comfortable though. I will never stay here again. Mom always said, "You get what you pay for." It was cheap and it looked it.

Horrible smell, TV didn’t work and was outdated, bathroom was old and what looked like mold in grout, the topper was the roaches in the dirty fridge. Grossed out. Checked out 10 min after checking in. After a 6 hr drive I had to go find another hotel.

Very, very outdated everything. The hotel and rooms smell musty, and the bathroom was just sad. The phone in the room wasn't connected, so I had to go downstairs to reach the staff. The property needs full renovation to step into the 21st century. The one saving grace is the staff; they were kind, courteous, and extremely accommodating.

The worst experience ever roaches in the room my wife was laying down and a mouse ran across the floor, the staff is extremely!!!! Rude and should not be in the hospitality business. We booked a front room online and they put us in the back building all you smell when you walk in is animal urine and feces. Told the young girl at the desk my wife is allergic to pet dander and she said it's not her problem after taking the money off our card she said if you don't like it you can leave but wouldn't refund our money. I'm turning them into the health department as well as the B.B.B. so please do yourself a favor and book somewhere else. Because trust me you'll take roaches home in your belongings and the staff doesn't care and talks anyway to you.

We arrived at 11pm after traveling for 5 hours to find that our room with 2 double beds, which had been reserved several weeks in advance, was no longer available. We were placed in a one king bed room which had what appeared to be vomit on the carpet, a roach sitting on top of the television and the room/bathroom in general resembled a 1960s porn movie set. We left the following morning, even though we had paid for two nights. The entire building smelled of chemicals, which we can only assume was a high level of cleaning products in an attempt to cover the marijuana odor. Do not recommend.

Traveled for the Renaissance Faire, we were very pleased with breakfast and the comfort of the beds. Exhausted and hungry little kids really benefitted from comfortable beds and breakfast ready when they are. The room was clean though outdated. Huge windows to let in gorgeous sunshine, but very old and could hear every noise within a mile. All of the outlets in the room were loose/barely held a plug. But everything was clean, all staff was super friendly and kind to us. We really liked our stay!

The rooms had stains. The bathroom was disturbingly disgusting. Telling guests they need to clean up after themselves is not customer comfort. The hotel owners failed to understand guest paid to stay, not paying the hotel staffs to tell guests to clean after themselves. There is no reason for a gym since the gym room is a size to fit 3 people.

Came to renfair and stayed here because it was available and affordable (around $130 for a king room for then night). Felt like a giant short-stay motel. Staff was friendly enough. Whole building smelled like it was being covered up with cheap air freshener. Needs a lot of updating. There is a bar/restaurant that appears to be permanently closed. Not much nearby. Wouldn’t recommend it unless it’s a must. See photos
