Plenty of access but could use repair/cleaning

The home has what it claims. There's certainly no HotTub but perhaps that was removed from the description now. Close proximity to bus stops and decently close to the Waterloo tube station.

Unsanitary and Unclean

We had a horrible interaction with both VRBO and the owner of this house. When we arrived there was a notable smell of mildewing laundry. We found blood stains on the sheets and mattresses, clearly molding/rain stains on the ceiling, food caked onto the walls in the kitchen, what looked like blood stains on the carpet on the stairs, brown slime in the cutlery drawer, empty beer cans all over the back yard, hair and stains all over the carpet, and one of the closets had wet hanging towels that were mildewing. It was beyond unsanitary for our family of 5 to stay here. When VRBO called the owner, the owner just asked us to change the sheets and he’d send over a cleaner, but this was not acceptable as this house needs a HUGE deep cleaning that would take many days. Please beware when staying here. We have NOT been refunded and it’s really unfortunate that I cannot post pictures here to show the public just what we experienced. I hope the owner does read this and does the just and honorable thing by refunding us. We left immediately and did not stay here.

Never again, VRBO. Dirty, awful, rude property owner

I will never again book a stay through VRBO as a result of this experience. House was difficult to find and I had to request check in instructions that morning as they were not sent automatically. The map link did not work and I was unable to copy and paste it into google maps. After finally locating the property, we walked into a dirty, home that had strong food smell, dirty walls, counters, and cook top. The kitchen and living area was barely large enough to walk through to the back patio, which doesn't seem to have been cleaned since last spring; also lock on the door was broken. The 1 bedroom on main floor was suitable, although looked like the furniture was from the 80s and the bed didn't even look inviting. The full bathroom was gross: black mold on the drywall where the used body poofs were kept; the corner of the tiny shower had mold and mildew, honestly didn't look like it had been cleaned for a long while. The upstairs has 3 bedrooms: 1st and I guess the master had a playpen for a baby set up and baby toys throughout the room and house. The bed linens look well worn, not something one would expect for a rental property. There was 1 room that was updated, but not by much. There was also a hamper full of towels and clothes at the top of the stairs. Also couldn't find the A/C. Seems as though this owner has family living here and they leave the home when they get a booking. We immediately contacted VRBO about it and 5 days later still waiting to be rebooked.
