This one-bedroom apartment located on London’s iconic Leicester Square is a rare property find. Previously owned by a leading architect and renovated (2019) by the HoK Living design team, the Leicester Square Apartment exudes Scandinavian design influences amidst original detail.
Offering generous, open-plan living, the property incorporates a large reception and dining space. Flooded with natural light, original period detail including wood floors and an ornate fireplace add instant appeal.

Paired with a contemporary aesthetic and statement furniture, the property’s attention-to-detail and comfort is unrivalled.
With a kitchen bar and bench space, fitted with bespoke kitchen units, marble surfaces and tiling detail, the fully equipped kitchen is fantastic.
The large master bedroom is immediately inviting. Featuring a king-sized bed, sumptuous textures, luxurious linens and natural light deliver serenity. Good design allows for ample fitted storage throughout the bedroom and property. A bathroom incorporating a tiled shower bath and washing machine completes this home.
Irving Street is located in the epicentre of London’s vibrant West End. Wonderful flat. Central location.

Don’t let the stairs deter you. Wonderful flat. Centrally located and wonderfully kept. Read your checkin instructions carefully as key pickup is a few blocks away.

Little Italy apartment

We really enjoyed the apartment. Very clean and had everything we needed. However, no where was it mentioned the apartment was on the top floor which meant walking up 5 flights of stairs. NO elevator. We’re in our 60’s with each of us having a bad knee. My husband had to carry both heavy suitcases up. I also have asthma. Besides no elevator, we had to go 8 blocks away to pickup the key with suitcases. The cleaner was late dropping off the key so we waited at the little grocery store for 45 minutes then walked back to the apartment only to face the steps. I’m a walker & my husband is also pretty active but the stairs were awful. Again the apartment was great but check in & when steps would make me look for something else.

Great apartment but management problems

We agree with the other reviews that it was a lovely apartment in an ideal location – and it was worth climbing the 4 flights of stairs. It is centrally located in a lively area. It was noisy outside, but we found the bedroom to be quiet when we closed the windows. Unfortunately, the apartment is poorly managed. We were not told how to pick up the key to the apartment until less than 24 hours before we arrived (we had to pick up the key at a store several blocks away). And we were NEVER told that we were expected to drop off the key at the same store when we left (which would have been impossible since we left before the store opened). In addition, there were no instructions in the apartment explaining how to work the appliances, including the internet. The apartment had not been cleaned when we arrived at 4 PM (it was a mess) and was not cleaned until after 8 PM, a VRBO first for us.

Angenehme Wohnung, super Lage.

Das Doppelbett im Schlafzimmer ist gut, das Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer etwas weniger komfortabel. Die Wohnung ist nett eingerichtet, man hat alles Nötige von Waschmaschine über Fön und Küche. Das Stadtviertel ist sehr lebendig, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten fussläufig und U-Bahn, Busse auch direkt vor Ort. Im Sommer nicht allzu leise, liegt zwar in einer Fußgängerzone aber über Restaurants/Cafés.

Oustanding Location and Great Amenities

We had a wonderful time staying at this great location and beautifully decorated property. Our friends were amazed at how central and accessible the location is--right on Leicester Square! Warning to those traveling with heavy suitcases: it is several flights of stairs so definitely not for the faint of heart! The stairs were a small price to pay however for such a wonderful location.

Great location and great stay

Great location and great place to stay. The apartment was just right for our family of three. As other reviews show, there are around 85 stairs to get to the apartment, but it's worth it if you can make it work. Recommend for sure.

Central Location

Stayed at this property for a month. Very clean upon arrival, and the property manager was incredibly timely and professional with her responses whenever I had any issues. You really can't beat the location, if you're looking to stay in Central London, with the Leicester Square tube station just a few steps away. My only complaints were that the property/furnishings/furniture were definitely more "lived in" than the photos showed, and as mentioned by a previous tenant, it's a 4-story (maybe 5?) walk-up, so be ready to get those steps in.

Good stay

I thought the place was good. Very clean and plenty of room. A lot of stairs when carry bags but I managed. I will stay there again.
