Room, bathroom and beds much smaller than I expected. Decent food in their Aviator restaurant. No free breakfast. No free shuttle. Cost $24 for a 5 minute cab ride to Terminal 3.

The Thistle is really convenient to Terminal 5 and the pods are a really easy way to transfer. Check in was easy and reception were friendly. The rooms are quite compact but the bed was comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. The shower was good although I would prefer a shower screen as opposed to curtains. We ate upstairs and the quality of food was good. Drink prices were quite expensive ( a bottle of Malbec came in at £38.50) but I suppose that's London prices. The sports bar was very busy but service was good and the view from the terrace to Heathrow was great. Overall a good stay and really handy for Terminal 5.

Best view

The room was really nice and the bed was a queen and huge and very comfortable. It has a great shower and all body wash and conditioner. Loved the different teas in the room and shortbread biscuits. The restaurant and bar staff are lovely and the bar food is great. I best part is watching the planes on the runway while having breakfast.

Hotel was incredibly dated with worn and dirty carpets and just a general overused and long overdue renovation. Cleaners didn’t take rubbish rooms small and lacking useful things like a plug socket anywhere need a bed

A very tired and very impractical layout hotel. No lift, even after years of people's comments on various review sites. No downstairs rooms were available so we had to drag our heavy luggage up flights of stairs, with no offer of help. We arrived at 10pm to be told bar closed due to maintenence. The novelty of the Heathrow Pod transport has worn off, especially at over £16 per person return to T5! Never again..

The hotel is close to the airport and that is all it is good for. We had a friendly welcome and our room was outside of the main hotel in an annexe. We had two random phone calls, which I assume was reception but nobody spoke. Not an ideal situation when you have a 4-30 start in the morning. Probably wouldn't stay there again.
