I had a good stay but there was no real breakfast. Just bread and peanut butter and nutella both days. One guy ate the entire thing of strawberries and made himself 4 sandwiches leaving no bread for the rest of us….rooms are cozy and private and the balcony was amazing for fresh air.

Your staff is either spying on me, while I'm in bed or allowing others on the property too. I'm sure you have cameras that can verify this. I'm very uncomfortable and feel unsafe. This is beyond words

In general I love the Rumi. The location is excellent if you need access to public transportation, dining/grocery options, and K-town. One thing to be aware of - the hostel did not have front desk staff before 11:00 AM. If there was available staff, I did not see a method to contact them. If they were there - there was no way to know who they were. This is highly inconvenient in cases where you have questions, or need help. My recommendation is that during check-in, ask all of the questions you have at that time OR make sure to talk to staff when you see them which is generally after 11:00 AM.

Hostel - 6/10

The breakfast was simple but there were flies around the kitchen. Went inside the bedroom and fruit flies were hovering over my bottom bunk bed because the trash next to me was full! Bathroom were OK clean. The bathrooms need more hanging hooks or even a little mini table to put toiletries on there and hang towels (if need to). Most hostels I’ve stayed were pretty up kept but this one was probably a 6/10 - I don’t think I would recommend that it!

After I booked The Rumi Hostel I was notified in a email that they only accept international travelers, and they’re refusing to return my money. I informed them via email that I was a Disabled Veteran with vision impairment and did not see any disclaimer of them only welcoming international guests. But the email has went unanswered and even Expedia representatives also attempted to get The Rumi Hostel to refund my money with no success.
