Lovely Motel

What a lovely motel. It appears to have been renovated so it’s up-to-date. My room was very very clean. My bed was comfortable. I had a huge screen TV and the staff was very nice. I really enjoyed my stay. We even got the fire pit going, and that was cool!

Amazing for the money!

My husband and I had such a wonderful time at this motel. I spent hours researching nearby cabins and hotels and just couldn’t find anything that looked very nice, even romantic, very clean, and in our price range. This lovely motel kept popping up in my search, and the pictures looked so updated and clean online, and the reviews were so good, we decided to give it a try since it was a great price and so close to everything we wanted to do. It was perfect! Friendly staff, very clean and updated, quiet and peaceful. Perfect with a fridge to keep our extra food from the local food trucks.

Nice, clean stay

The motel was very nice. The room was clean and spacious. The location was near the national park and the caverns and we were only a few minutes from a bunch of food options. We really liked the place!

Hillside was clean, neat, and convenient to Luray and the mountains. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool. My only complaint is that the towels are small and thin. Otherwise, we enjoyed Hillside fully.

I've never stayed at one of those roadside motels before but the room is newly renovated and super clean! Exceeds expectations! The staff left before I arrived but they were nice and able to check me in and get me in the room.

Perfect slice of heaven for a weekend getaway or a

This is an absolute hidden gem. Completely updated, the beds were heaven. Quiet, beautiful views of the mountains. The pool was sparkling clean. Refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker in the room made it very convenient. The owner is like your best friend. Very responsive. The place was sparkling clean. HIGHLY recommend this place. Whether you're looking for a weekend getaway or a week stay in the mountains, it's close to Luray caverns and many other beautiful places right near Skyline drive. And reasonably priced on top of it all!

TINY room would have been helped by not having a tall, full-sized dresser, a lean against the wall mirror (that you knocked over if you opened a dresser drawer), and a chair that blocked access to the right side of the bed. The water wouldn’t come on enough to take a shower. Music played through a speaker right outside our window beside the bed all night long. I think they are trying and the lady at check-in was very friendly, but they need to put some thought into practicality and get repairs finished if they want people to be satisfied. Beautiful view off front porch!

This is an older motel that when speaking with the lady at the desk said was just acquired by a new owner last fall. They have done a lot of work to the rooms and exterior of the building with all new everything in the rooms. It is an older place but it being brought up to modern standards and amenities. They are still in the process of getting their vintage sign restored and a few exterior upgrades but I would highly recommend. Has the potential to be one of the nicest motels in the Luray area.
