Satisfactory and quiet stay.

Everything is fine but it would be better if the staff can allocate guests to a separate floor which is further away from the noisy tour group.

Wife Got Locked In The Toilet

My wife was about to go to take a shower, closed the door (without locking) to hang the towel and then tried to open it again, and that's it, she's locked inside !! To recap, she did not lock the door in the first place ! Contact the reception, who in turned contact the doorman, and in the end contacted the maintenance guy, and all in, my wife was locked in the toilet for almost an hour !! The lock eventually was smashed into pieces before the door can be opened! (Good lock though) Needless to say, they changed for us another room and thankfully, it was uneventful :) Not a bad hotel, in fact, not our first time there, and will be there in the future too, but does leave my wife a phobia and she dare not lock the door even after changing room. (just imagine if she's alone in the first place and I'm not there to know that she's locked inside !!!)

the staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful, they even provided us with information on which places to eat like a local. the only slight set back of this hotel is at night the sounds of cars and motorcycles on the main road are heard by us as it is located directly in front of the main road. But overall i liked the area very much as we have ample parking space in front of the hotel and places like Movida is just walking distance away. And we don't have to put any parking coupons as its not required at that area yet.

The staff was so kind as the appointed taxi didn't show up on my leaving time, I need to rush to the bus station to catch my flight. The staff drive her car to send me at last few minutes. That's really helped me much!! Besides, room was great with the fastest wifi I ever had in Malaysia.

Visiting Melaka recently for short visit. Overall, the hotel is nice. Only minor issues below : -Wifi signal strength is not stable -Requires +- 20 mins walk to well known Jonker Street, other popular attractions The hotel brochure shows 5 min, which is only applicable with driving car

While the accommodation was acceptable for its price, the breakfast sucks. For SGD7 each, we had food that was vacumed packed and heated in a microwave oven, Coffee that was cold and bread,jam and margarine that was in a common container for all guests to share. Unacceptable! We forgo our breakfast for the 2nd day as we could not bear to eat it twice in row. Rooms are acceptable for the price. There are 4 catogories. We had Cat 3, 1 being the highest.

Unpleasant stay, forced to be longer

On arrival I was surprised to find the hotel in a location that wasn't matching what the Expedia page promised. The comfort of the room was poor. Just one electric socket, no closet and no refrigerator. Bathroom very small and after shower the floor was completely wet. When I want to change my reservation to leave earlier, the staff told me that only Expedia can decide on that. Expedia told me that the hotel didn't agree to earlier checkout since the whole stay had already been payed. Further on, when asking for laundry nobody of the staff knew how to do. Only housekeeping was finally able to help. Breakfast start serving at 7:30 am, to late for me since I had to start working 8am. But the staff of the rooftop "restaurant" offered to send breakfast to my room earlier. Anyway the quality of the food was poor. Dry toast with butter, a cup of coffee and a selection of 4 different MICROWAVED dishes. I'm sorry, but this hotel isn't recommendable.

Great new hotel with good value of money, and so friendly staff. Negatives: bath hose was broken, heater only worked one time, pillows are not comfortable... Other than that everything was so great ...I felt so comfortable that I didn't want to leave.

The rm is nt sound proofed, quite noisy, no day curtain. No smooth ramp at hotel main entrance for wheelchair/luggage. The toilet entrance door was too small & no ramp, difficult for disable guest to access to d toilet. No special room for d disabled. Even d door of d toilet at d lobby shld be open outward nt inward, if d wheelchaired person goes in they r unable to close d door. Our stay could b a pleasant one if nt for all these inconveniences for disabled like my hubi to be doing all these basic routines independently...
