Great staff

Staff were always friendly, polite and helpful. The pool change rooms are spacious and clean. Carpet in the hall was stained in areas, especially around the ice machine. There was mold in the shower grout. It would be nice if bedside lamps had dimmer switches or low light options.

Nice Hotel if you like grey, long corridors of grey. Breakfast, whilst very nice, is expensive for what you get. Reception staff were delightful, grounds very well kept and a perfect location for visiting RHS Bridgewater or Manchester itself.

The room was clean, comfortable and fairly quiet, but the bathroom was dated and a little battered and could do with an upgrade. The staff were very friendly and helpful, thank you! The breakfasts were amazing, such a great variety and well cooked, genuinely something for everyone, the best buffet breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel. The pool area was a bit of a keg down unfortunately and didn’t seem very clean, and we had dinner one night in the sports bar which was not very good at all, so we were disappointed in that and wouldn’t recommend eating in the bar.
