Surprised to drive up and see it was directly behind the grocery store, but once we settled in, we found it to be a very comfortable and relatively quiet experience. The marina and property are very nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed the greetings from the manatees during our morning coffee. Great location. Enjoyed Sombrero Beach and farmers market. Didn’t mind the roosters.

Spent 7 nights and it was very clean, beautiful and a great place to stay. Beautiful sunsets and even saw some manatees! Great place to stay with lots to do around it.

We loved our stay on this property. The units were very clean and the staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The best part was sitting on the back "porch" and watching the manatees. I would absolutely recommend this property.

Nice Alternative if You Enjoy the Water

We wanted to do something different and came across the aqua lodges at Yacht Haven. The staff at the marina were very helpful and friendly which made check-in and checkout a breeze. The property was just as the photos detailed. Very clean, new, great location for moving around the town. We rented a boat onsite and they had bikes, kayaks and paddle boards available. The aqua lodges had all the essentials you need. It was nice to relax on the back deck and watch the sunset. Be mindful, the Keys have random roosters and chickens roaming and they can be a little noisy at night but otherwise quiet location. We experienced the same in Key West on this trip as well. Also, staff do a great job with making sure all the essentials you may need are stocked in the bathroom. Keep in mind this is a houseboat and the water heater is small and it is a marine toilet. We will stay again if we travel back to the Keys!

Great floating get-away

Super fun lodging option for our quick trip to the keys. It was well appointed, literally around the corner from the grocery store, and (obviously) right on the water. We took advantage of the bikes on site for a 2 mile ride to the beach, and I went paddleboarding on the water and saw tons of animals (but never the manatee that every other guest seemed to encounter...). It was a delight to have breakfast on the deck and although I don't anticipate another trip to FL, if I did, I would love to stay here again.

The houseboat was super cute and clean. The beds were very comfortable. I appreciate that there was plenty of towels and wash cloths. A lot of hotels are very stingy with providing them. Ashley at the office was very friendly and helpful.

A nice stay.

We enjoyed our stay. Loved many things about Yacht Haven. Watching manatees from the boathouse was an interesting way to start the day. Many lovely sunsets across the water. The rooms are cramped. In my opinion more appropriate for a couple than a family. We wished the very cramped second bedroom with room for only a double bed and a 2’ passage to the bathroom had been turned into a small extra sitting area. All in all we recommend the accommodation.

The property and staff were very nice. The houseboat was set up very nice with everything someone could want for a short trip. It is walkable to Publix and sombrero beach (2 miles one way). One downside is you do hear the roosters and the air-conditioning through the thin walls. You are pretty close to your neighboring boats on the deck facing the water. There is ample air conditioning units (3) to keep the unit cool, however likely not a lot of insulation which may be something to consider if you're traveling during the hotter months. Overall, great stay and very good value.

The staff were professional and caring. The view from our unit was spectacular! We encountered dolphins and manatee every evening. Units are spacious- 2 queen and loft bed upstairs. It comes with a kitchen- stove top, microwave, refrigerator and some pots/pans. Few improvements would be nice- full size working coffee pot and floors cleaned. I saw another review about black going everywhere and they were right. My family had black on the bottom of their feet/my toddler black on his face. There has to be an eco friendly cleaner that can clean/sanitize the floor. Other than that the unit was amazing! Beautiful sunsets and close to everything
