What do you call a deluxe community that allows you to simply walk across the street onto Tigertail Beach instead of driving across the state to it? You might call it paradise, but we refer to it as South Seas East. This 1,000 square foot, 2nd floor condo sleeps six, with one king bed, one queen, one twin, and two bathrooms.

Colors, paintings, and décor that resemble the nearby ocean add a nautical accent to every room.

The open kitchen features barstools along the granite countertops and comes fully stocked with all of the modern appliances and cookware that you need to serve anything from a tropical treat to a picture-perfect meal.

Once you’re finally ready to drift away to dreamland, both bedrooms, along with their ample closet and drawer space, offer all the colors and comforts of paradise. In addition to this, they both feature windows, allowing you to fall asleep to the fragrant tropical breezes.

The unit features comfort-enhancing amenities like air conditioning and heating, ceiling fans, linens, towels, and a washer and dryer. For your entertainment, you’ve got free wi-fi and cable. You’ve also got beach essentials like beach towels, beach chairs, cooler, and umbrella for that short walk to Tigertail Beach.

The South Seas community offers plenty of amenities as well. Take a refreshing swim in the spacious heated pool surrounded by palm trees. Use one of the gas grills under the tiki hut to cook up a poolside barbeque. Play a game of tennis, shuffleboard, or bocce ball.

And, of course, you’ll want to use the private access to Tigertail Beach. It truly is one of the gems of Marco Island, with miles of white, sandy beaches, turquoise waters and mangroves. Wade in warm tide pools in search of colorful shells. Charter a fishing boat. Or you can sign up for an Eco tour that takes you to the habitat of the manatees and nesting sea turtles.

As part of the great Bird and Wildlife Trail, Tigertail Beach also offers some of the best birding in southwestern Florida. It’s home to the least tern, black skimmer, piping plover, and other exotic birds.

After a full day of fun, celebrate with dinner at one of Marco Island’s favorite restaurants like Doreen’s Cup of Joe, Joey’s Pizza, or Thai Sushi by KJ, all just a short walk from your unit.
