This beautiful, bright and clean 2 bedroom, 2 bath waterfront home offers all the amenities! The home is newly renovated with granite countertops, dishwasher, washer and dryer, ice maker, flat screen TVs, WiFi, 2 pull out sofas and so much more! The back lanai offers table and chairs, an outdoor shower and all the relaxation your heart desires! There is room to park your boat trailer and plenty of dockage for your boat.

The boat ramp is just minutes away and the canal leads right out to open water! This home is minutes from Boca Grande, Captiva Island, Sanibel, Useppa, Cabbage Key and Cayo Costa.

When you aren’t on the water, you can walk to many restaurants, bars, shops and art galleries in colorful Matlacha!

Great place!

We had a great time at this property and will hopefully get to come back again. The only thing I would recommend is adding a couple of kayaks/paddle boards.

Very nice area

We never received a code for the door so had to call at 2 am to get that when we arrived. No light in car port or outside in the back. Both of the bathrooms only had a half of a roll of toilet paper and only one extra roll with 5 people so had to buy some. Other than that the house was perfect for us. Very spacious with plenty of room for kids. We would definitely stay again.

Great stay

We loved with home right in the heart of Matchala. Wish we had a boat that would have been amazing. Leslie is a great host and gave us recommendations of what we could do with the family. Neighborhood was so quiet. The kitchen was fully equipt with anything you would need. The little coffee spot is a short walk away, which seems to be very busy each day! Delicious coffee and food. I realized that I left some of our things in a drawer of the house and Leslie is going to be sending it back to us! Im so thankful! They were great

Wonderful home in beautiful Matlacha

We stayed in this home for 5 weeks! It was the perfect escape from the cold Midwest! It was our first time as snow birds. The home was clean and exactly as described. It was well stocked with everything we needed. It’s so close to all of the wonderful restaurants and shops in the area. We enjoyed the walk ability! Leslie and John were the perfect hosts and we very helpful if we needed anything. We highly recommend this home!

Was very nice and quite neighborhood. Beaches are a little far away but nice as well. Sannibel island beaches are great. We saw a manatee and calf.

If you love to fish - this is your place

The property is great, house very clean and roomy. If you’re a fisherman you will love this place. Not sure if you’re allowed to bring your own boat, but there’s definitely a place to tie one up. Or you can throw in a line right off the back yard. The street is very quiet pretty much all day w/ plenty of friendly walkers. If you’re a walker be sure head just down the street to Matlatcha town ( I guess it’s a town - you’ll see what I mean when you get here). Cute shops, restaurants, fish shops and a nice playground/ park with a walkout for fishing. Back to the house - kitchen was well equipped - but only the basic salt & pepper for cooking ( Covid restrictions I’m sure). New Publix opened on Pine Island while we were there - more convenient then other. So if you like to eat what you catch better bring along the ingredients to make it your way. One thing not listed in amenities- there is a gas grill and a Washer / Dryer ( pack light x this is a Very Laidback place). Weather was absolutely perfect as we escaped snow at home. Didn’t see many kids, but this house would accommodate them well - ar least 2 pull out sofas. Come to MAT - La - SHAY for a peaceful laidback time.
