We booked this apartment through Expedia and by carefully looking at the pictures to make sure it suited our needs.
When we arrived we got greeted by the owner who were lovely however the property was run down and needs maintenance to match their listing and what they charge.
Our apartment was not what it was listed, it was dirty, smelly and damp. The couch was broken and unsafe to sit on and very very dirty. It was old style where as the listing showed two leather couches and this was just the single cloth broken couch. There was no oven in the kitchen as the listing showed they had oven.
Also the room was smaller from the listing and very different. The listed apartment had ranch slider too but this apartment room didn’t had any. When we informed the owner they said it’s the same room and that the oven was faulty so they removed it completely. They did give us a small benchtop oven. The fridge in the room was not working properly and was switched off when we checked in. First they said don’t worry it will be fine freezer is working so we complained to Expedia and Expedia didn’t help at all apart from talking to the owner who didn’t wanna help or refund after we found the place dirty, damp and smelly. On top of the broken couch so Expedia said they can’t do much and simply stay there.
We went back to the owners after 1.5hours to complain about the fridge so they gave us a small bar fridge to use in return.
Don’t recommend this as we have infants too.
