Reception staff were very friendly. Unfortunately the room overlooked a practice putting green that became a children’s playground each day and was a far from tranquil outlook as described. The pool was in a disgusting condition and the water was green and full of dirt… We had to ask for housekeeping 2 out of the 3 days we were there as we had not been done. How was your stay at said okay?

Booked for 3 but the accommodation was only set up for 2, and it took two days to rectify. I called in advance to ask if there was a coffee machine in the room and was assured there was (there wasn’t). The room itself looked tired and outdated. I felt I was staying in a motel (but paying 5 star rates). We love playing golf here (which is why we stay) and the casual bar/breakfast works really well. We hope the property gets some much needed love in the near future.

Room was clean, bed comfortable. Everything worked. The furniture is sub standard for the overall feel of the room. There are two cheap chairs, which screech when moved. They are not comfortable. The soft chair in the room looks 30 years old, tired, cheap, and too low to be comfortable. The deck bench is the same, too low, bird splat on one side. The deck has nice views, but nowhere to sit. The dining area is basically a sports bar with giant TVs. The dining room was closed for renovation. The breakfast is fine, although limited buffet items. The hotel is almost empty on our stay. The reception people are very responsive to calls. We decided to stay a 2nd night because we were too tired to move. We booked directly with the hotel for the same rate as Expedia. Downside is we didn’t receive a complimentary bottle of wine. Why? Don’t know. Next time I’ll book with Expedia for the second night. Our room was refreshed for our second night, except the Nespresso capsules. I had to call reception to have new one sent to us. For a place with such golf game I think they should invest in better furniture for the rooms.

Only 1 single lounge chair in room. Room large enough to have a lounge. A lovely big bath tub but no soap or body wash only that attached to wall at basin. Toiletries shown on website not in the room. No soap or bodywash in shower. I had to ask for my free bottle of wine, otherwise would not have received it.
Outdoor balcony space but no outdoor furniture besides 1 old wooden bench with no cushions.

I like that the room was cleaned daily and was cleaned well. The staff were nice and friendly throughout Peppers. Parking was close to room and easy access. Breakfast was yummy and a variety of food to choose from. Overall, we had an amazing time at Pepper and felt very relaxed.

Moonah links resort is a great location with beautiful surroundings. However the accommodation is getting dated. Most disappointing was the buffet breakfast was very limited and poor quality. We have been to Peppers in Daylesford and their resturant was world class with a multicoarse breakfast menu as standard. So we were so disappointed about the Moonah links resturant menu on this occasion.

Everything was great. They were running behind on our room however the receptionist ensured to make this a priority and gave us a drink card while we were waiting. Room was clean with a beautiful room. Staff were helpful and friendly and the surroundings was stunning. Kitchen was able to accomodate for our vegan diet which was a plus! Would stay again :)
