Very nice accomodations except the description stated there was a queen sofa bed. We had 6 people and needed 4 beds. A queen sofa bed would have been perfect except this was not an actual bed. It was half a mattress that when next to two sofa cushions made an uneven and uncomfortable platform. This was not sufficient for a 65 year old man who was using it. Had we known this was not an actual pull out bed we would have booked another location. Furthermore, we booked a state room that described there being 3 bathrooms, we were complimentary upgraded to a room that only had 2 bathrooms. After speaking with the representative we were informed there was only 2 bathrooms in the rooms booked. Two details that we ere misleading and would have changed our decision when booking.

The Kokomo Houseboat is absolutely beautiful. Very clean and well kept. It was so peaceful on the water and we were able to see 4 dolphins swimming by. Check-in was easy. Bed was super comfortable. And restaurant for dinner was delicious and right at the end of the boat slips. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back. Thanks so much.

Luxury Experience in a beautiful houseboat

Let me start by saying that this is a beautiful place to stay! We stayed for one night before our cruise set off the next morning and we stayed in the Luxe Lagoon houseboat. This houseboat definitely felt like luxury with its up-to-date technology, modern look and overall feel of the place. The bed was nice and comfortable, the bathrooms and showers (one on each floor) were both very roomy and clean, and the porch on both floors were very well kept as well. The restaurant on site was also very convenient and delicious! The reason I am not giving our visit 5 stars is due to the black mold we saw in the bedroom upstairs. It wasn’t just a little amount, it was a lot which made me concerned what else I may not be seeing. We also had some issues with the front door opening when we first arrived but a maintenance man was able to assist us with that. Overall, a great stay and would come back if the mold gets addressed. ☺️

Very nice stay for the night before a cruise.

Ruby the property manager went above and beyond! She was extremely helpful! Our only issue was an odor of marijuana in our unit. The staff did what they could to mitigate the smell but that smell likes to linger!! In no way was it the fault of the property, only guests who dont like to follow the rules and have no consideration for the next guests! Ruby was very apologetic even though it wasnt her fault! It was the perfect place to stay the night before a cruise! Would have liked to have stayed longer!

Short weekend getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The boat was very clean and tastefully decorated. The blue lights in the living room were a nice touch as long as we kept them on for a short time. I think the white lights had burned out, no big deal. There was plenty of hot water for showers. The kitchenette was perfect for small meal prep, and the refrigerator was big enough to hold food. The beds were comfy with plenty of pillows and blankets. We couldn't use the rooftop much due to the weather, but when we did, it was relaxing. The view never gets old.

The house got was buitful, just big enough for two people. I did a couple loads of laundry wirh no issues. I think next time, i would like try the two bedroom house boat. The house boat is our favorite placed we've stayed durning our trip. And i got to see a rocket launch from the roof deck, so cool!!!
