With the $35 daily resort fee paid at check-in, guests can enjoy of the private pool, private beach access with towels, umbrellas and chairs, fitness center, complimentary high-speed WIFI, and business center. Hotel also has meeting spaces for any private events and it also contains 1 restaurant and 2 bars. Resort is located within a short distance of many attractions in Miami. Should you have a vehicle, there is a $35 valet parking fee to be paid at property.

**Please note that the construction of a residential building has begun next door and we want to assure you that your comfort and experience remain our utmost priority. Though this construction will not impact any of our amenities and services here at Marenas, you may experience an increase in noise during your stay. I know that check-in starts at 4 PM. We arrived at 11 AM and they absolutely refused to let us into our room until 4 PM. When we finally got to the room, we met the cleaning lady and I asked her when the room had been ready. She said that no one had been staying in the room for over a week. The front desk refused to explain the reason. The faucet in the shower was broken, and only after I asked three times when it would be fixed did a technician come and repair it. There is an elevator next to the room, which makes a lot of noise. In my opinion, I will not return to this resort.

This is an incredible property with all of the ease you can wish for while on vacation. 10 out of 10 experience. My daughter and I came for a concert and the distance from the stadium is about 25 minutes. Perfect for a quick getaway.

This place was fantastic. Location is right in the beach, great views from the balcony of both sunrise and sunset. Friendly and helpful resort staff. Nice beach. Really had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Positives & Negatives

Positives : Marenas Resort is in a good location on the beach (not terribly crowded) and there is a Publix a block down. The front desk, cleaning staff and bar tenders friendly. Room was stocked with basic kitchen utensils, plates, bowels and a coffee maker (designed to only use thier coffee pods). No condiments. Negatives : Host was terrible and will NEVER communicate with you. Never ever responded to any calls emails or anything. Advertised with parking, tried to get a hold of host who never answered. I called VRBO and they told me parking was included in stay stay and I called the day before check in (past the refundability). Only then before my flight was the advertisement changed to include a parking fee. Found out at the front desk about the additional charge. At that point I had to decide to check in or call VRBO for alternate accommodations which is HUGE hassle and wouldn't have worked because everything was pretty solidly booked up. I was told by the front desk that Franklin Da Costa is the Marketing Manager of the resort. So I checked in thought, hey this is a 4-star resort so they will be straight and fix the cost of parking. BUT Franklin De Costa never returned any calls from the front desk, never contacted me after the stay. Contacted VRBO, they said they can't do anything and I would have to work it out with the host even though I saved my receipts and host would never call back. I even called and emailed the general manager (Romina). Franklin Da Costa weeks. I gave the Romina a week. Never heard anything. Also... dont expect anything like a small condiment like salt. I asked the front desk and they initially said yes sure. 1min later they called back and said no. I was surprised. A couple packets of salt was all I was asking for and was happy to walk down to pick it up. Still no. The surrounding a limited number of restaurants that have ok food but is waaaaay overpriced. Paid $28 for 2 slices worth of pizza, a coke, and a beer. The 6 slices i was charged for was 2 slices worth cut up to what almost looked like but sized sliced. It made Costco pizza look like gourmet pizza that was just delivered straight from Italy. I rented a BMW through Turo which was another disaster and won't be using that platform again at all. I've had good experiences through VRBO in the past but now I will question it more. I am doubting I will be staying at Marenas again. Its listed as 4-star hotel but management is acting more like a 2-star hotel.

The property is a great value except the building and unit is very outdated!

Excellent location, however the Unit itself is very outdated and the noise from the elevator is constant since it’s the closest unit to elevator. I’d like to add, it’s a great value for the money but the beach is very narrow and you must get there at 730am or all the Beach chairs are taken

Excellent accommodations!

This was a wonderful place for our vacation. The property was clean and comfortable and the view of the bay AND ocean from our deck was stunning! The resort was extremely helpful and always ready to assist in any way they could. The staff was excellent and we had a great trip!

Awesome Staff

The staff of the resort madevour stay a memorable vacation. All staff were extremely pleasant and overwhelming helpful. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and the balcony views were amazing. If I had to suggest any improvements it would be that the rooms need to be stocked with everyday house hold equipment. Nevertheless the less the items that were missing the front desk and staff accomodated every request. We will make this an common playground for future vacations.
