There's a mandatory damage deposit from the hotel. After checkout, they will return it to you. This is to compensate for any damage inside the perimeters of the establishment, not the apartment.

This procedure is mandatory for all units and we expect your collaboration.
Early check-in and late check-out if available can be provided at extra cost.
