I’m shocked to see this, actually. For starters, the hotel is one that is pushed as being good for cruise travelers. They also stayed it was a Wyndham chain. They should not brand themselves as somewhat high end when it’s not. There’s NO elevator. Not a broken one - NONE. Why would you push this hotel as cruise friendly for people traveling with luggage?? I had to carry 50 pound luggage bags up 2 flights of stairs. This is diabolical! The lady all but laughed when I asked where the elevator was - like I would know there isn’t one?? She offered to keep my luggage downstairs. Explain to me how my luggage can be downstairs but I’m upstairs needing clothes and toiletries. Make it make sense! Finally get luggage upstairs and there’s pot being smoked and it’s all you smell in the rooms. I’m more pissed after carrying luggage up the stairs and being killed doing that and not knowing who was smoking so they could share! The room hadn’t been cleaned in I couldn’t tell you how long. Bugs in the closets. No comforter on the bed and an ac unit that at best puttered out somewhat cold air. Then get the sticker shock of paying $220 for a room that we had to carry our own crap upstairs blows my mind. I could go on but it’s not worth the headache. The fact I have to pick a star rating here is insane because there’s needs to be a zero stars. Total waste of money! The best part of the stay was the 3rd party vendor that they used to get us to the cruise terminal. Worth every penny!
