Terrible! Possibly the worst experience I’ve had at a hotel. Check in took over an hour because every single guest was experiencing the same problem as us. They did not receive the room they booked so the front desk had to spend hours arguing with every single guest. We booked a double queen ocean view room and received a double book barely ocean view. They wouldn’t even have told us it was different if we weren’t observant and noticed. When we asked about it, our options were to take the room we were offered with a waived resort fee or cancel and get a full refund. Not even offering to comp the price of the lower room we received. Front desk staff seem to have never had any education in customer service as they frequently left the desk unattended with no explanation to the mass of guests waiting to check in. Not only that, the only free part of the breakfast is bread and cheese and some ham if you’re lucky. Everything else costs money. The rooms are ancient and look like they haven’t been renovated in two centuries. We have rust in our bathtub and on our blow dryer. The water pressure in the sink is like a pitiful drip. I even worry about the cleanliness of the room. Not to mention that only one elevator works SOMETIMES for a hotel that’s over 9 stories tall.

The hotel is so outdated. The elevator was broken for the first four nights. Then the room had a dirty floor, broken furniture, terrible bedding, and an air conditioner that was louder than a train. After 10 am, there is no hot water left for a shower. I do not recommend.

My room wasn’t ready for the 4p check in time. Then they tried to take an additional $200 hotel fee when it was only supposed to be $34. Asked to speak to a manager and waited over 1 hr for him and he never showed up. The line to check in was ridiculous. Only 1 person at the desk to check people in. The rooms look like misfit old furniture. Far from the pictures on Expedia. Not even a garbage pail in the room. Stains all over the rug. By far the worst experience in a hotel. There were multiple guests that we spoke to who were complaining with similar concerns. There was one couple who didn’t get room service in 2 days.

A room was not ready at the 4pm check time. Waited in the lobby for 2 hours. The hotel was old and dated. The room was smelly and didn't have a shower curtain. Didn't receive a shower curtain until the next day. Housekeeping brought one up to the room and try to give it to me to put in the bathroom. We stayed Wednesday through Monday. Housekeeping only came to the room one time, on Thursday, to clean. The front desk staff is dismissive and rude. I will tell everyone about the horrible experience.

The hotel was pathetic, and I will never recommend it to anyone. From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was terrible. Check-in was extremely slow, taking close to 30–45 minutes, even though there were only 2–3 guests ahead of me. The front desk staff were inefficient and unorganized. During this long wait, a group of 10–15 airline crew members arrived. Suddenly, two additional staff members appeared from no where and checked them in quickly at a separate area. While I understand they may be corporate customers, none of the staff made any effort to assist the rest of us who had been waiting, which clearly shows poor customer service and a lack of basic courtesy. The front desk staff seriously lacked customer service skills throughout the stay. The “free breakfast” was terrible—it could hardly even be called continental. Most decent options were not included and were available only for purchase, which felt misleading. The bathroom flush was not working, and when I mentioned this during checkout, the front desk responded as if they were already aware of the issue. There was no apology, just a casual response saying they would “look into it.” Very disappointing. Other issues included: - Outdated rooms - TV remote not working - Beeping smoke detector Also, there is no on-site parking, so guests are required to park in nearby parking areas, which is inconvenient and should be clearly communicated.

They checked us in two and a half hours later than the scheduled time of 4 pm. The room was not available upon our arrival. The air conditioning was not functioning properly, and the bathroom was in poor condition. The breakfast was also disappointing, as there were no eggs at all. Overall, the experience was not good at all.
