The hotel's location is terrific, right by the shore with great views and convenient to lots of shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is well designed, very new, and has great amenities. However, we did not have a good experience using the hotel app. The service request we made through the app was completely ignored. The room service did not occur on the day expected, super difficult to reach anyone from the room. The lobby could use design improvements, it's always filled with crowd which makes it difficult to walk through at time and just make it loud and chaotic which doesn't vibe with the luxury image it tries to sell.

Fantastic post-cruise stay

Stayed here after a cruise before flying home the next morning. Excellent location, directly across the street from Bayside Marketplace and stop #1 for the Big Bus Hop on and Hop off. Bayside has tons of shopping and restaurants and there is a CVS right around the corner for any last minute needs.A glass of rum punch at check in was a nice touch. Beautiful room on the 36th floor with a gorgeous city AND bay view. Room was like a studio apartment with kitchen and laundry. Definitely will stay here again.

Exceptional stay at a gorgeous hotel with a fantastic location! The service was exceptional at every level! Bayside is just across the street, with excellent dining and entertainment and our Royal Caribbean cruise port is a very short Uber ride away

Elser is gorgeous and a real treat but there were certain things that I didn't like or rather I expected more from a very price "amenity rich" hotel/residence. For example. This location does not have quiet rooms for private calls or work. Room service cleaning was not consistent even after requesting for cleaning. However, overall the staff was professional and friendly.

Well stay longer next time!

First: The pool deck is off the chain! Huge, lovely pool, amazing views, a variety of seating and shade levels and NO “exclusive” cabana nonsense. Food and beverage service with actual tables - people of all ages and stages were enjoying themselves. Second: It’s the perfect location if you’re overnighting before a cruise. The port is less than a mile away, and you’re within walking distance of some great restaurants and coffee shops if you need them.
