My safety was a concern. At 6 am the neighbor had someone beating on their door to get out. That's not what anyone wants to hear. Guests were on their door thresholds or the chair next to their room smoking. I could smell it or I had to walk past it to get to my room. The office smells like marijuana. I'm not sure if the sheets were cleaned, but otherwise the room was clean. The refrigerator froze all my food. This was the 6th or 8th visit to this Motel.

This is a great little motel! The bedding is very comfortable. I ended up staying a few more nights and driving further the following day just to avoid uncertain motels down the road. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

My stay at Chalet Motel Mequon was modest and comfortable but it’s true that you get what you pay for. Affordable rates but overall it’s a little run down. The first room was pretty loud and a little dirty. I was moved to another room that was quieter but the thermostat controls were stuck. I give 5 stars for management though. They were really helpful and did what they could to remedy the issues. There is a nice restaurant right next door and it felt safe.
