Overall decent stay, had a few issues.

Property is good, could use a little updating. Golf cart gave us problems but eventually starting working correctly. King bed upstairs broke but we were able to fix it, the slats under the box spring have some pegs that slid out and almost broke the slats when we were going to bed. We had to remove the mattress and box springs and reinsert the pegs which look to have been broken for a while. Parking can be an issue also, every day we were fighting for our spots. Other than that everything was fine. Want to give an honest review.

Overall Nice Unit

The unit itself is very nice. It was clean and as described in the listing. We checked in about 45 minutes after the check-in allowable time and received a surprised visit from the cleaning inspector. It wasn’t a big deal at all as she was very friendly and apologized for interrupting our stay. The golf cart was nice to have to get around the property. It could use a good detailing and a new key chain for the keys. A few throw blankets could also be added. The washer and dryer worked perfectly as well as all the kitchen appliances.

The townhouse location and view is awesome. The furniture was comfortable and relaxing. The only negative was the golf cart needs replacing. It is not dependable and the battery would lose power in short period of time. If you don’t need a golf cart I would highly recommend this unit.

Great Location

Overall the stay was great. It was off the beach so it wasn’t as busy but it was a short ride in the golf cart to get to the beach. My family and I loved it especially my 4 year old.

Convenient

We enjoyed the convenience of this location along with the view from the back of the rental. The added golf cart was a plus! The downstairs area had a good set up. Upstairs shows two twin beds in one room and a queen in the second room in the pictures. However one room had a queen and the second room a king bed.

Check in was fine but got there to find place was not clean at all. I turned on the fan and dust went everywhere. Toilet in upstairs master did not work and TV did not pick up channels. None of the outlets in master bath were working. A TV was delivered and even after a call the next morning to the property manager no one showed to fix the toilet or the delivered TV. The best part of the whole place is the view. I'm so disappointed as the pictures made it look so well maintained. Reality is its not at all.

The back door doesn’t lock. There was mold in the master shower. The dresser drawers fell out.

We love the location. The check in was great. The communication on check in was great. The mold and the back door not locking was troublesome.

The photos need to be updated on the listing as they can be deceiving. Upon check in, we noticed the place needed a good wipe down. The furniture was really dusty. With COVID and the expectations of everything being completely clean and sanitized - you can tell it wasn’t. There is too much furniture shoved into the condo, most of it wasn’t functional for what we needed. No pantry to store your groceries in, yet a random hutch in the dining area next to the half bath. Didn’t make sense…The fridge and microwave appeared new, but the dishwasher and washer/dryer were like the ones I grew up using in the 80’s. The dryer would take several cycles to dry a load of laundry. Every single thing in the unit creaked-the stairs, floors, beds…We all came home with back aches from the horrible mattresses. Every time you turn over, you wake up the whole condo from the sound. There appeared to be mold on the ceiling in the dining room, which is right under the upstairs bathroom. There must be a leak that needs to be looked at. Lastly, the golf cart. The sad sad little golf cart. I submitted a complaint about it, but never spoke with anyone or had anyone follow up with me. Max speed of 11 mph when the speed limit is 23, is DANGEROUS and frankly quite embarrassing. People passing you, honking at you, and yelling at you like you are driving slow on purpose is awful to endure for 8 days. We would have to take my moms car plus the golf cart to the beach each day so we wouldn’t bog down the golf cart with our stuff. We couldn’t joy ride like everyone else because the line of traffic behind us would build up so quickly. Couldn’t even go to the Wharf on the cart because we feared we would get stuck having to get it towed back to the condo. The listing says you have 2 parking spots, but we rarely got to park by our condo due to everyone else parking there. Some of our pluses for the condo were: the outdoor shower in the little gated porch area. We didn’t realize it at first but it was nice to rinse off before tracking anything inside. It was also nice to have a hose to rinse our chairs and boogie boards off. The deck was nice and the new bbq looked nice as well. We didn’t use it, but it would have been nice to sit out there if it wasn’t so incredibly hot. The towels were nice, but didn’t have enough for the 5 of us, so we constantly had to wash them. The kitchen needed more than one dish towel to be able to wash and dry your dishes if you don’t use the dishwasher.

Many problems/ repairs needed

The Property was in a nice location easy to the pool the golf cart made it easy to go to the beach and surrounding areas within the community. The golf cart would only go 11 miles an hour which made it tough because all the other golf carts and cars we’re having to constantly go around us. We started experiencing a leak in the ceiling on day two or three in which we did call maintenance , Maintenance came out andthey said it had been an ongoing problem

Never this unit again!

1. We rented this unit because it came with a golf cart, combined that the unit showed nice in the pictures. We WOULD NOT have rented a unit without a golf cart. Top speed was 11, too slow & dangerous when the speed limit on the main roads in the community was 23. Golf cart was filthy upon arrival. 2. Unit was dirty upon arrival. We had to wipe everything down. 3. Supplied with the cheapest toilet paper, paper towels & trash bags money can buy. We were only given one roll of each & one trash bag-the one in the trash can, which ripped day 1. 4. The entire upstairs, including the steps, creaked with EVERY step. Super loud unit! 5. The mattresses on every bed were extremely hard & creaked with EVERY movement. It was impossible to roll over without waking up others. 6. Entry way is extremely overgrown with ferns, making it difficult to walk on sidewalk & entryway without getting dirty, especially when raining/wet. I expected a different level of cleanliness, supplies, & overall unit for the price charged. Gave communication with property manager 5 stars due to automatic email communication. We never spoke in person.

Great setup, few areas to improve

The property was just as advertised and worked great for our family. All of the appliances were in working condition. Hot water, cold AC, gas for grill. Original Golf cart wasnt working so they had a replacement being delivered just as we arrived. Very helpful cart person toothed! The replacement was a bit worse for wear but given the alternative happy to have one made available. We had all the basics we needed to cook dinners in. The floorplan and setup gave us the space we needed to invite other family over for dinner. Few things that needs improvement Dusting - blinds, stairs, under beds. There were cobwebs in master window, lots of dust under bed, and in creases of stairs Better broom and dust pan. Cureent one didn't sweep up sand, just pushed it around Grill grate badly rusted, needs to be replaced Door code expired at least 10min before checkout. We fortunately had gotten all our stuff out and went to do final trash and walk thru but couldn't get back in at 9:48am.

Good location with minor issues

Overall it was a good experience. There were no marked parking spots for the units which made things difficult with loading and unloading. The fridge had issues with water leaking inside on the top shelf and the ice dispenser did not work. I highly recommend bringing extra bath towels and blankets.

Some updates needed.

This villa is in a great location. It could use some updates. There is a linoleum rug covering the tile in the living room area. It is very old and dirty. A nice new rug would really help that area. It is nice you have a lake view. The renting process was wonderful. The agent I spoke with was very kind and helpful.

Comfortable master bed. Lots of seating in Living room. Water view of lake and fountain were nice. On the further end of complex to pool and beach but there was a short cut via walking to help alleviate distance. Beach Blue was wonderful to work with if questions or help.

I do wish someone would have told us construction was going on by the lake. We booked that unit so my husband could walk off of the balcony and fish. He wasn’t able to to that, had to walk. I know this is just a temporary thing and probably not anything they would have thought about passing along! Other than that this stay was perfect!

Nice place

Very nice decor, loved the location, when the weather was cold the unit was very drafty and cold downstairs. We needed to buy a heater to stay warm.
